About
Redhawk Golf Club is one of California's 10 best public courses. Located on the outskirts of San Diego in Temecula, the course is home to one of the southern California's only island greens. The layout is challenging no matter what your skill level but it is still immensely enjoyable. The golf course features dramatic elevation changes, narrows fairways that demand accuracy, and multi-tiered greens that are well conditioned. There is ample water on the course but its use feels natural rather than arbitrary. The numerous strategically placed bunkers are equally as challenging, if not more so than the water hazards. Every club in the bag will see some use at Redhawk Golf Club. From the elevated tees, golfers can enjoy views of the surrounding vineyards for some scenic respite from this formidable test.

Very poor greens
The greens are horrible!
This is my home course I use to play this when it was $35 to play and I’ve always said I’d happily pay $50-$60 for this course. The course is beautiful with a great layout. The course had its aerification done about 4-6weeks ago so the greens should be great by now. They are not. They are bumpy and still sandy.
Hole 10 & 12 have always been horrible. Today the signature hole 8 had tire marks going straight over the green and about 2ft next to the hole. The course at its current condition should not be over $45 but has the potential to be an $80 course
Great Track, fun Layout, pace of Play Terrible
Played this Sunday, first timer here. Great layout challenging tee shots. Greens were alittle soft but in great shape. Tee time was at 10am on a Sunday 5.5 hour round. Not sure if this is standard for a Sunday at Red Hawk but definitely not going back on a weekend. Recommend weekday round here. Unless you enjoy burning an entire day there. All in all great course and staff

Check in staff was friendly. Tall lady in the restaurant was outstanding with a personality. Fairways little wet from watering which was good to see. Greens ran nice and in good shape. Will play here again when golfnow offers a good deal.
Windy!
Tough course if you're not hitting the ball good. Best be on your game! Course was great! 4th time playing & will go back although pace of play kind of sucked.
Nice layout
Played Redhawk for the first time in 7 or 8 years. Course is in pretty good shape and has a challenging layout. Greens are in pretty good shape with a little bumpy ness. Eight of us drive out from the O.C. And we’ll do it again soon. Great value for this course with the twilight rate and the starter and staff were really nice and helpful too
