About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Pace is Too Slow
Played on Wed and the pace was too slow . A 5 hr round during a weekday is too slow!!!! I have played here both during the weekdays and weekends, and the paces have been consistently an issue for me. To be fair, i did see a marshal driving around and told me that the tournament players 4-5 holes in front of us was slow but i guess the damages had been done already...I am really considering not playing here anymore because of the pace...Other than that I do like this course...

Bumpy Greens
It’s one thing to have slow greens which I perfectly understand, but the greens were very bumpy and while you can always adjust for speed you cannot adjust for the bumpiness. Roll those greens. And a few of the tee boxes are in pretty tough shape. If the seeding doesn’t help I suggest laying some sod.

Super slow
5 hours and 20 mins to finish a round was way too long. We passed a group ahead of us at the turn and finally picked up a bit. The restaurant was not open and the staff did not know why. $89 for a great course but it was poorly managed on this.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Sixsomes?
Took forever to play due to a sixsome of neophytes who should have been playing an easier course from the Red tees. But NO, these jerks had to be playing from the Blues, then the Reds, since that's how far they hit their drives. Totally inept. Had no concept of golf etiquette. Only golf related items they had were clubs, which they probably rented or borrowed. No Marshalls on the course. Sad experience at Eagle Vines.

Eagle Vines needs more/better maintence staff on course
Blue tee boxes in horrible shape, some holes tee boxes looking like they have been ignored for months.
The fairways were soaking wet, puddles on most holes, and some traps. Have NO IDEA why they are watering their course so much - kinda like they're flipping off California's drought.
An amazing course when it's taken care of, a crappy local municipal course when it's ignored - like it was on my round.

Rentals
Do not rent clubs there. There selection is average at best. I requested extra stuff shafts and they could not provide a bag. I had to use a mixed bag of stiff shafted irons.

Terrible condition!!!
I've been playing this course since it opened!! My how the mighty have fallen !!!!! Never thought Id see it in this condition! Dont spend top dollar to play it . Feels like its on its way to bankruptcy.

Fun course beautiful scenery friendly staff
Love the layout. Plenty of hazards which makes it challenging and fun. Probably most blind shots off the tee boxes ever esp with severe dogs left and right. Beautiful setting lined by a functioning vineyard. Saw folks having their wedding there and were having a blast.
