About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Beautiful winery course but needs major plumbing done
The course was in great shape with the greens recovering from the recent punching. Couple more weeks the greens should be rolling perfect.
The bunkers were on the packed and muddy side which wasn’t a big deal.
***BIGGEST down fall to this beautiful wine country course was the god awful ponds/bodies of water. Not only did they make the hole challenging but they also challenged your nose tolerance. There were couple holes where I found myself struggling to stay and wait on the grejen for my playing partners. The still standing body of water attracted more than the normal amount of bugs and insects. I think I escaped with 3 or 4 mosquito bites.

Staff unfriendliness and course condition
We setup a t time for 20 players on April 23 that included range balls. When we asked for range balls the staff member gave us a small bucket with around 10 balls, I asked if he could fill the basket with a few more balls. He replied annoyed and stated that that is what we get. We also noticed that the greens were recently sanded with no mention when we booked out t times.

The pace of play was slow, starting with hole 1-18. Super disappointed with the pace, but over-all the course was fun.

Good greens
Greens were good, rest of the course was a mess. White flowers throughout the fairways, tee boxes chewed up with divots and dozens of spent tees, broken and in the ground. Would have understood at $35-$40.. Brought another couple (my recommendation) and was fairly embarrassed.

Fun course
Firs time playing this course, driving range is irons only punched greens, were recovering from weeks ago, it is long course but not really hard to play, Sand traps were not raked and golfers don't rake their foot prints either, I got a deal on golf now for $64 so for the price and condition of the golf course it was ok.

Good course layout
Challenging front nine, demanding back nine.
Scenic vineyards and water holes make club selection a priority. The wind picks up in the afternoon.

greens were aerated a couple uf weeks ago.slow.should of been notified up front.$90. course should be excellant condition

Needs more maintenance
Overall, the course left A bad taste in my mouth after not disclosing the recent punched greens. They could have been rolled to help with the bouncing of putts on all the greens They haven’t recovered and we payed $87 for green fees that normally I wouldn’t balk at, but that wasn’t $87 worth of golf. We were lucky enough to miss the wind of the weekend. But the range was also in horrible shape, they hadn’t moved the area for what looked like the weekend and having any stance while Warming up is out. The cart girl was not seen until the back nine around whole 11, she was parked off of 13 after she went by us not driving around as you would normally see. The staff was great. Very nice and helpful. It will Be a while until I’m back. You can play much better shape courses for less money.
