About
Eagle Vines Vineyards & Golf Club is tucked away in the foothills of Napa Valley, offering one of the most scenic courses in the area. It is also considered by many locals to be one of the most challenging. Every hole on the golf course provides stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. The layout sprawls across gently rolling hills that weave through stands of mature cherry and oak trees, shimmering waterfalls, and meandering creeks. The golf course offers challenging multi-tiered greens and postage-stamp landing areas that demand well placed iron shots. The memorable seventh hole features an even more difficult island green. There are also some tricky fairways that seem much more open than they are. Eagle Vines numerous risk-reward opportunities that will have golfers using every club in their bag.

Not as good as it used to be
Just not very well maintained. Signature hole has been under repair for years it seems like
Some of the tee boxes were a little rough but all and all they were good. Layout was challenging on some holes. Fairways were good. The only thing we noticed were that they greens did not roll true. At times the stimp was 9 and other times it was an 11 1/2 to 12. Also they were bumpy out side 3 feet. Staff. Was freindly...will return.

On the decline
Course has seen better days and is not in great shape

Great course. Played slow.
The course was beautiful and challenging. The front 9 played in an hour and forty-five, but the back played almost 3 hours. Waited nearly 10-15 minutes at each tee box for the group in front to finish. We still thoroughly enjoyed the course and will play again sometime.

Tempo on 9th hole on
After the 8th hole waiting times were long. Tee time 8:24. End time was 1:45. Long game but beautiful course while waiting .

Nice day for golf
Got paired up with husband and wife. Some spots need to be spruce up a bit but overall course was in good shape.

For such a nice course packed with players on a hot day it was disappointing they didn’t have a beverage cart.

Could use improvements
None of the ball washers had water. None of the drinking water containers had any water nor any cups (which didn't matter). No drink cart. Porta potties could use cleaning.

Poor condition
Not sure what is going on with the ownership bu the course is in terrible condition.. tee boxes need to be completely redone. Fairways in terrible shape. On a positive note the staff is very friendly and the food is good.

Close to a 6 hour round!
The course is in a good shape and it's a nice track but pace of play is brutal. There is a cart girl but no marshal...

Course needs marshalls
We were behind a realllllly slow threesome that never gave us a chance to play through, even though they were 1-2 holes behind the next group. One of the threesome consistently parked his cart in the middle of the fairway for no reason we could see. Just sat there, even though the rest of his threesome was long gone. Assume he was on his phone. We couldn’t hit because he was sitting there. Marshalls would have helped with this.

First Time
First time playing eagle vines. Great layout, tough rough with a lot sand traps and water. Very challenging . I liked it so I played it again on Thursday 18 August.

So much potential
Great layout. Tough but fair track. Beautiful scenery.
Sadly, course was in poor condition. Tee boxes and fairways just aren’t being cared for. Fortunately the greens were in relatively good sharpe.
Course was full and took 5.5 hours to play.(Saturday mid morning tee time) Despite prime of the day/week, no beverage cart.
I really hope it changes management as it could easily be the gem in the area.

Eagle Vines
Late afternoon round on Friday. The course was in good shape bunkers could use a little work. Always a fun place to play. The only challenge was the restaurant and 1/2 way house were both closed by 5:00PM and water was not available out on the course.
