Eagle Vines Golf Club

Great course, course conditions were good, fast greens, nice fairways and tee boxes. Only thing that would make this course better is if they had a better driving range, (currently irons only) and also if would be really helpful if they had GPS screens on their carts because their layout has some blind shots off the tee if your using the back tees and also some forced lay ups where it would be nice to know the yardage.

Pace of play is crazy. Played here twice in the last 2 months. Both times 5 hours plus.

Layout is great.

Greens are great.

Fairways are ok.

Tee boxes beyond horrible.

Compared to several other N.Bay courses Eagle Vines had no fairways full of mud, no cart path only restrictions, and you could actually get some roll on your tee shot.

As always, EV is challenging & scenic, with several holes lined by vineyards, some nice views from a few elevated tee boxes - and the signature pair of holes around a lake 13 & 14.

This course is not good for walking - a lot of elevation changes and a few LONG journeys between greens & next tee. The range is grass but irons only, as it's very narrow & short.

I say yes to recommending this course because it was one of my favorites for a long time. However in the past year or so the tee boxes and greens are not in the shape they should be for the money paid to play, especially the tee boxes.

I would call it a first shot course. The course is surrounded by vineyards and there’s plenty of water. If your not playing from the fairways it will be a tough day. The greens roll fast and true.

Beautiful course in the vineyards. Pace of play was perfect for 4. Only negative thing is the driving range. Rough shape and not allowed to use driver. Other than that it was great. Definitely will play again soon.

We had a 12:35 tee time and was on schedule to finish by 5pm. Sunset is 5:15 pm. Cart staff rushed us to return the cart by 5pm, probably so that they can go home early. We ended up skipping the last hole. Then after cart return at 4:50, the bathroom was closed. I think these policies value staff convenience much more than customers’ experience!

The meh of courses. Cart was dirty. Can’t use your driver on the range. Course was soaked and muddy yet it hasn’t rained in over a week. Worst was the pace. They stack players like boxes. Waited ten minutes on each hole. Like 5 hours to play 18. If I played this course again, it would be first thing in the morning, in the middle of the summer, and I’d skip to the 3rd hole. They need like a warden or two out there to keep players from playing so slow.

5 hours+. Not sure why. Course can be challenging, but a well marshaled golf course can remedy that. Only other complaint was the beer I purchased at the snack bar was almost Luke warm.

I wanted to give a better review, as the first couple of times I played this course i was quite impressed with the layout and want to include this more often in my rotation.

This time though I was very disappointed. Cart path only, ok I understand, we've had some rain and the course was soggy. No problem.

They have a daisy problem here!! Sounds weird, but every fairway has a lot of daisies which means finding your ball can be a problem. Surely this is a problem that can be fixed? Also the condition of the tee boxes was poor.

The pace of play though is what was really disappointing.

Sundays can be slow, but almost 5 1/2 hours? Not a marshall in sight?

Maybe they were all inside watching the Niners-Rams game?

I'd played Paradise Valley in Fairfield the day before and it was a 4 hour 15 minute round. A very pleasurable round and a marshall who checked in with us 3 times to let us know that a group a couple of holes ahead were about 1/2 a hole behind!!

The only redeeming factor...The greens were in decent shape.
