Eagle Vines Golf Club

The price was decent, the greens were great and I loved the layout, but the rough was U.S. Open tall and the fairways had not been mowed lately. If I play this course again, I'll definitely call and ask about the current course condition before booking a round.

This course was well maintained. Some of the holes were challenging. It required long drives which were difficult for short hitters.Anyway we had fun out there.

Eagle Vines, as a course, has some picturesque holes and can be challenging. There are a number of holes that require you to play target golf. Definitely not your easiest track but not extremely difficult for those lower handicappers (not I). So why my average score:

1). Course has seen better days. Fairways looked like they needed water, tee boxes were a bit chewed up and not level

2). Golf Carts looked like they were from the 80s. Mine squeeked in every conceivable place and just looked like it would break down at the next turn.

3). Restrooms were portables. You would expect to have decent facilities. The sister course, Chardonnay, has actual bathroom facilities. This course does not.

4). Restaurant was closed due to private event.

Played on a Saturday 4/12 and tee’d off at 10:39am and 3 hrs 30mins for the first 9holes. I apologized to the 2some who were paired up with us and were from out of town. The pace of play was so bad that my playing partner and I left after the 12th hole. I’m sorry but I don’t have 8hours to play 18holes of golf

You better have an entire day, 6 plus hours just to play not including warmup puts or range

The course and the greens are in good shape but the pace of play is heinous. No marshal, no incentive to keep this under 6 hours. Horrible!!

Course is amazing. Layout is great. Greens are great. Everything is good. You gotta go and explore by your own stuff. You won’t be regret it good luck.

Great course. The tee boxes are great, some challenging shots and some easy. Overall, the course challenges you to hit your yardages. The greens are phenomenal. My only complaint is the half house was closed on a Friday afternoon…

This was my first time playing the course and unfortunately it had rained a tremendous amount in the previous two weeks. The course was very wet not allowing us to get the geniune experience. The wet fairways also prohibited the staff from cutting the grass in many days which makes any course not look as good as it can under dryer conditions. I will return to play again and hope that the conditions are much dryer. Great layout and challenging.
