The second of two Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry designs at Desert Willow resort in Cathedral City, Mountain View is a little shorter (6,913 yards) and boasts wider fairways than the Firecliff Course.
There are also half as many bunkers as at Firecliff. Which still means there are 98 here.
Still, water comes into play more on Mountain View. The course name is no misnomer either. Golfers actually do get great views of the Santa Rosa Mountains as they take on Hurdzan's desert landscaping. This is resort golf with real nature touches.

This is my favorite course in the desert. Love the desert feel. Well maintained, friendly staff, great restaurant with view of both courses.

Breautifully sculptured course
This is the second time I've played the course, I went back because it's a well laid out desert style course which is challenging yet forgiving, if you can hit the ball fairly straight, you'll like it too.
