Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club

We were in the area visiting our son over the Christmas holidays and I found a hot deal at this course. There was an uncharacteristic one hour frost delay but it was worth the wait. The course was in excellent shape from tee to green. The greens were a little slow due the extremely cold weather the past few days and they haven’t been mowed but I was told they normally have some of the fastest greens in the area. The staff members were friendly and made you feel welcome. This was my first time playing Florida golf and if I’m ever down here again I will definitely play here.

I had the greatest experience ever getting paired with HOF baseball player. I will not say who it was in honor of his privacy. He was extremely gracious and kind during the round. The course and greens were in great shape. I definitely will be back again to play Regatta Bay!

I understand the financial demands of running a golf course. What i don't understand is the charging $200+ for a round at an average golf course.

Its nice, it's challenging, the greens are fine. But there is just nothing special that says - $200 lets go do it!

If you get a deal time or rates drop to $100-$150 for regular rounds - ok give it a shot and see what you think.

Regatta Bay is always in great shape, fun to play and the staff is always friendly and happy to help.

Regatta Bay is the Best golf course in the Destin area! The staff, driving, chipping, putting areas are in fabulous conditions. The golf course is in great condition. The only problem I have is the price. Without the hot deal and the monthly $10 reward and the saved upped points I wouldn’t be able to afford to play at Regatta Bay. I’m on a fixed income and not able to afford a hundred dollar fee to play golf. GolfNow makes it possible to play there, but the change in points policy makes it so I can only play there once a season. I think they should reward the players who have a GolfPass+, $200.00 subscribers, $25.00 a month instead of the $10.00 reward that the $99.00 subscribers get.

Regatta Bay golf course was in excellent condition for mid-March - well-kept bunkers and smooth rolling greens testified to the high level of care provided by the grounds crew. The overall layout provided nplenty of risk/reward design elements to keep things interesting - one prime example being the closing hole. Keep in mind that the course is at sea level and the fairways may not allow as much roll in the spring as what you might be used to. Just be sure to play from the tees that will maximize your opportunity to play some fun golf.

The staff provided a very friendly and member-like experience from arrival to departure. The clubhouse and dining areas are top-notch. Do yourself a favor and play Regatta Bay.

Regatta Bay is a challenging but fair course. The course was in great shape except the greens had recently been sanded. The staff was friendly and pace of play was good. Love the finishing hole.

The course was busy, but pace of play was good. The greens were slow, but consistent. A little on the pricey side, but still worth it overall.

Morning was packed full and only half their range was open.

The chipping area was closed for repairs and improvements. It is a good practice facility with a separate range and putting green. They do not cut new cups in the putting green often. The holes on the course aren’t moved daily either.

I love this course because of all the things! The layout of the course, the many tee box options, the friendly staff, the condition of the course, and it has a wonderful restaurant. The pace of play was excellent too. Our foursome never waited. Every time I’m in Destin, I play it multiple times. It’s my favorite and I have golfed 8 different courses in the Destin area.

Greens were really, really slow

Pace was awesome. Couple of holes that need to be tweaked a bit… but fun to play..

Amazing course and staff so friendly

First of all, the person at the bag drop was great! He explained to us where to check in and hpay pointed out the starters shack.Check in was a breeze in finely detailed pro shop. Starter was also VERY and told us our options as far as the range and putting green, even let us tee early! Course was in good shape for March 5. Overall staff was very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend the experience.
