Kelly Plantation Golf Club

Very nice course, Greens rolled well. Bunkers were well maintained. Grass is still dormant in the fairways and rough, but overall was still very playable. Special mention to CL, one of the friendliest starters around, who got us off early.

New tee boxes are commendable. Layout is the best in the area and the fish taco was good

The course layout is ok, conditions not great, particularly for the price (most expensive golf we played in Destin area). Won’t be going back.

Great layout and friendly staff. Took over five hours to play, which was unusual. Tee boxes, and greens in great shape but fairways need some work.

Had a very enjoyable round! The course had a nice layout with water views and some nice challenges! Practice facilities and staff were great!

Course is overpriced for the condition it is in this time of the year and compared to other courses in the area.

This is the first time that I’ve played at Kelly plantation. With all of the reviews, I’ve read and people I’ve talked to. I expected the course to be a terrific layout, and in excellent shape, especially given the price. Although the course was an excellent condition, I was disappointed in the layout as each hole seemed to be very similar the last. The lack of variety was what struck me most and was somewhat disappointing. I don’t think I’ll be playing here again.

Staff was friendly, paid attention to detail…. Felt like I was at my club at home!

Course drained well after a downpour of rain which caused us to be delayed for 1 hr. Staff was very friendly and professional. Course definitely took some damage due to hard freeze but greens were in good shape and rolled faster than expected after the rain.

Great course. Was in good condition even in February. Many tee boxes to choose from which can make the course really challenging. Only complaint was I couldn’t get a hot dog at the turn

Windy day did not detract from an excellent layout. This is winter golf so Bermuda is dormant. Fairways were very good for winter and tees have just been installed. They are perfect.

Great layout with superb greens. The fairways were a little tight due to dormant Bermuda. Otherwise very enjoyable experience!

Play this course usually 3-5 times a year when In town. Course is always consistent and good to play. A nice combination of gettable and longer holes including a couple of nice holes with a Bay view. Several in-between paths to the holes snake through well landscaped low areas which add to the beach feel. Staff great and practice area very good. Recommend to anyone staying in the Destin area!
