About
The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Everything was good except no water stations on the course and $4.00 for a bottle of water. All other courses have water stations.
Pace of play was too slow
Waited 5-10 minutes every hole in 95 degree. Not fun.

Always nice
Greens were recently aerated, should be back to normal in a couple weeks but weren’t too bad at all.. Pace was surprisingly good at 4:20 for a Saturday.

Aerated
The course was recently aerated but played very well. There were some spotty areas in the fairways but those should recover in due time. Greens rolled well and will improve as well. All in all a great track open to the public.

A HotDeal Bust
The round started without a marshal, and we had a 6 hour pace most of the first round. It was really slow, then it started raining. Since there are no rain checks, I paid $54 dollars to play eight holes at a snails pace. The whole thing sucked.

Rough… around the edges
Play here often. Conditions were not great. Bare patches in the fairways and tee boxes. Greens were great. Hear Panther is in better shape.

Crooked Cat
I love this course and the challenge of it under normal conditions, but the pace of play was horrible almost 5 hours. Add the high heat index and no marshals to speed up play and it makes for tough day.

Pace of play was atrocious
Rangers need to range keep people playing ready golf no reason a round should take 5hours

Good layout and greens were solid. Fairways were pretty bad. Tough to even get a lie with grass. Really wanted to love it too.

Rude Starter
Since moving to Orlando I’ve played at so many different courses. I always play as a single and have never had any problems riding in my own cart if I get paired with a group. Orange County National is the only place I’ve went back to multiple times because the courses are great and I’ve never had any problems. Until today, I was paired with a group of 3 and had no problems until getting to the starter who only looked at me and said the 2 solo riders need to pair up in a cart. This was the first time I’ve ever been asked to pair up as a solo and felt that I shouldn’t have to. He then said I could go to the club house and pay for cart for a cart by myself. They wanted $25 on top of the already existing cart fee I paid. But once again the guy who was riding solo in the group of 3 didn’t have to pay. Will not be back, and it’s a shame because I really enjoyed their setup.

Fun and challenging
Fun course but was definitely still a challenge. The pro shop staff especially Nick ( the old one as he described himself) was very friendly as well as professional! The cart staff and starter were also very good. The greens were smooth and quick! We had a blast!

Played twice on vacation. Awful experience
Played it twice on vacation. Back nine not in good shape for its reputation. Got paired with two other guys who were good golfers like myself and my son. No one behind us. Played in four hours and twenty minutes. Bought drinks twice from cart girl who was great and the ranger hounded us twice about hurrying up. All four of us shot 80 or below. Mud under thin layer of grass on many back nine holes. Would not play it again. Played everyday in Orlando for a week and this was the worse experience.
