The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

This course is in the best shape I’ve ever seen it! Even though I played like absolute trash, I still had a very enjoyable day. Tees and fairways are perfect. Greens are rolling smooth and true, hats off Pole Mendez and crew! Outside staff were on point as always and the shop staff and food staff were great! Looking forward to playing there again.

Great golf experience. I played Crooked Cat and the course was in fantastic shape! The pace of play was terrific. The course was in country club condition. The greens are very large and well contoured and rolled very true and fast! Closest I have played in a long time to PGA Tour-like conditions. They hosted the LIV event 3 weeks prior! The course had generous fairways, well-framed bunkering, and a lot of elevation for central FL. In addition to the great course, I love that there were no homes on the property. Plenty of pretty holes along the water and par three were outstanding The outside staff and golf professional staff were very helpful and friendly!

The starter was a joke

The just played the LIV tour at this course so my expectations were high. The starter was an absolute joke no one out in the course at the 3:00 T time we had and we just played a 2/2 scramble. Got finished in 3 hours but got told to speed up 3 different times and I’m a 5 handicap. Never in my life got told to speed up especially with a scramble. Course was rough too.

Even though we weren’t advised ahead time that the greens were punched after the LIV tournament, the greens were still pretty good. Receptive and rolled pretty well considering.

Tee to green was wonderful certainly as a result of hosting the tournament. But more importantly I have seen the number of course maintenance working on the course. They were EVERYWHERE and it showed. Hope they continue with this level of attention to detail.

PLUS the floor and furniture in the 19 th hole room were all brand new.

Looking forward to our next visit

Life after LIV

We played the weekend after the LIV Golf tournament. There was still some infrastructure up for that event. Interesting to see the effort LIV was making to try and present a favourable fan experience. LIV Golf still doesn't appeal to me.

The course was in as good a condition as I can remember, probably because of the recent LIV event. Unfortunately, the greens had just been punched/spiked, but understandable because of how short they had to cut the greens for LIV. Other than the spiked greens, a really enjoyable day. Will be back.

Over priced.

For the price and praise from the pro shop, I was expecting a golf course in pristine condition. I've played nicer conditions for alot less money. The cart path only rule which was really not needed, made for a long round. It's a very nice track with some tough 2nd shots to give you a birdie or even par putt. Looking forward to watching the pros play the course and see how much the conditions change in 2 weeks...
