Crooked Cat at Orange County National

We had a 3 pm tee time so knew it was going to cut it fine for finishing as sunset was 615 .. but as a two ball we thought we be good. When we got to the tee for 3 but there was a 4 ball teeing off in our time slot and they wouldn’t let us play through. Ended up missing the last two holes …

Course was in good condition and everything else was great!

Staff wasn’t great. I dropped my wife and bags at bag drop. By the time i parked and walked back she wa still waiting there. Inside pro shop more of the same. Struggled to get staff to help. Assuming they take care of members or regulars. However it doesn’t make for a great first experience.

Course was good, sand soft and playable. The issue was the carts and the greens. The greens were so slow, it made it hard to pace a shot.

The carts geo-fencing was wacky. Over a 100 yards away from green and it’s slowing us down, making you go in reverse even though you are heading to the cart path 🤦🏼‍♂️. It was frustrating to say the least.

If you can get it under $100 play it. If you are paying their normal price i think it’s too much for the course.

Show up pay us Be thankful you got to play here is their poor attitude. Not friendly they might as well fire the staff and hire robots. . Aweful. It all about them and not your golf experience. Obiously coperate no personality. No thanks for coming. Herres our place or how can we help you.

Cant reach them on phone. No practice balls. Just pay here and go to the starter. Will fail miserably in the long run.

Dont play here please boycott them for their impersonal coproerate service it shows in every employee. Just aweful.

Crooked Cat is in the best condition I’ve ever seen it. From tee to green, everything is lush. Love the dormant rough look. This would literally be the best place to play in town if it wasn’t for the super annoying GPS. I would prefer to walk the entire course than to have my cart slow down suddenly once I’m inside 100 yards from the green on EVERY hole. Come on guys, can you please tone down the “restricted areas” on the GPS. I’m all for safety and protecting the greens and everything around it, but this is ridiculous.

Iv played many times over the years at crooked cat and charging the rates they are it’s not worth it course was tidy but no where close to a $200 dollar course and there buggy policy is a money grabbing greedy way to go one when I first played course over 10 years ago you got a lot for your money now they charge double and give you nothing for it Id avoid it till it’s 50-60 dollar range

Nice course to play. It was very slow the day I played.

Was a single trapped behind foursomes. All good it happens played 2 balls. Had a great time. Staff and course are 2nd to none. My favorite Orlando track.

Enjoyed the course...but very slow play....almost 5 hours.

Excellent Golf Course & Facilities with friendly Staff, the Golf course couldn’t have been better. Pace of play was very slow due to a Party of 40 in front who were not very experienced golfers, but a senior member of staff gave us 40% Discount Card for another round which although we can’t use as we are going back to the UK was much appreciated. We will definitely play again next time we’re in Florida.

I just wish the visitors who come and play at this great facility would consider their fellow golfers & the Golf Course and repair Pitch Marks on the Greens, Fill in Divots on the Fairways & Rake Bunkers, some do but I’m afraid many don’t.
