About
The Crooked Cat Course is one of two 18-hole regulation courses at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge. The facility is also home to a nine-hole executive course. The Crooked Cat Course is a challenge with dramatic elevation changes and rolling fairways that are framed with mounding. The golf course has a links-style design with large, contoured greens and wide landing areas. Water hazards and several bunkers come into play throughout. There are also trees and native heather present on the course for a naturally beautiful atmosphere. Orange County National's Crooked Cat Course is favored among low handicappers due to its length and difficulty.

Poor management of golf ettiquette
Everything was good until they sent out a large group that started during our round. We were on a good pace to finish then suddenly 8 people teed off in front of us. We had to wait a long time to finish. We were the first to tee off on purpose to finish early, but that didn't happen.

Hope you like to wait
We were the 3rd tee time out. Played the front in about 90 minutes. On the back nine we waited for 5-15 minutes for every bunker to be raked. Not once in 9 holes did the maintenance try and let us get through. Attitude of the director of golf was so tough so sad… We’re told to hit at them, if they move great. Glad I don’t work at this course if your hoping they get hit with a golf ball, but won’t train them on proper course etiquette

Great & Challenging Coarse
Have not played there in years. As great a track as remember.

Barstool
At one point there were 4 groups on one hole. The Ranger came to inform us that one group on 14 was holding up the entire course. They literally had no one in front of them. We asked if he moved them along and he said no. He said he didn’t have the authority to move them a hole up but he offered us a free drink. It literally ruined the round for us. The Barstool Sports crowd playing golf is bad for the game.

Golf play
No cart girl on back 9 till hole 18. First saw her on hole 3 . Green speed not consistent. Tee decks in poor shape. Fairways had bear spots

Great layout and staff
It's been several years since I have played this course. The back 9 on Crooked Cast were outstanding. I will play again even though it's a 2 hour drive from me.

SLOWWWWW!!!!!!!
If they are gonna pack the course at least manage it w/ a ranger - great to see out of townera doing their tournaments and stuff but it has to be within bounds. We bailed iafter no. 11, went back to 1 and played the front 9 again in and hour and 10 minutes

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were running slow, and rough was non-existent. Biggest complaint was pace of play….almost 5.5 hours for our round. That’s a little brutal.

Taming the Cat
Great practice facility. Comfortable carts. Hybrid tees make the course just a bit more challenging if you want. The course was in good condition, greens were true but had recently been spike aerated. Fairways weren't as lush as I had expected but very playable. Wildlife on the course was a plus, be careful around the water!

Huge disappointment
Greens and Fairway’s were nice, the rest of the course looks like a off leash dog park

For $50 in afternoon after 4 PM rate with aerated greens is a rip off
Website photos are deceiving
Greens and fairways were in all right condition, rest of the course not so much.For $100+ for being non resident of Florida there are better options in this price range. No cart service until we were on 14 was another issue and never saw her again. Will not be returning.

Family outing was a great success
OCN is a class facility for the golfing public, Great courses for traveling players at a reasonable price, The courses will provide a fun experience for all levels of play including the very best players. I brought my entire family, and all were happy with the experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
