Arthur Hills designed the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club to deliver a fun round that's tough to forget. Trees tower, landforms show subtly, and bunkers improve your golf skills. The par-72 golf course measures 6,903 yards, and has gained its renown by offering a design that requires strategy.
A round of golf on the Padre Course at the Camelback Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which measures 446 yards from the black tees. Things get long on the fifth hole, a par 5 that comes in at 553 yards from the black tees, one of four 500-plus-yard holes. The 18th hole is one of these: It's 547 yards from the black tee to the post-round celebration.
After your round on the Padre Course at Camelback Golf Club, head to the Golf Grill, serving U.S. cuisine and a fancy Sunday brunch in the style of Southwestern country clubs. There's also a luxury lounge where you can spend winters on the patio by the fireplace.

Great condition
Fairways were excellent greens were fast and true.Only downside was cart path only and its a long walk from some cart paths
Padre
The course was in good condition although it had been overseeded and was cart path only. The pace of play was great and the staff was extremely friendly and provided good service. The driving range is good and included in the price of green fee.

Cart path only
Cart Path only and was not listed on golf now. I did not enjoy that it was cart path only because of over seeding.

Padre Course
Great day playing yesterday at Camelback Golf Club! The Padre Course is the older of the two courses there. On the Scottsdale Rd side and has a park like setting.

Great Golf Outing
Had the opportunity to play Camelback Parde, great course. The greens were in great shape. All staff member were very friendly and helpful. Again great experience and will play again when I am back in Arizona.

Beautiful resort course (Padre)
Excellent condition, lots of lateral water, widely spaced tee choices, and the other course (Ambiente) is reported to be even better!

Golf Now has a fantastic system to enjoy high end courses st BARGIN rates ! The Padre course at CamelBack brought Me back twice in week . The layout is all right there in front of U & is still a test to play well. The staff there seem genuinely glad to see U & if I've enjoyed the day with them. Always cordial , even if it's a slow day for them in Summer. The Chuster , Ranger Tom & especially Ms. Vanessa are Quality staff . Big THANKS !

Great course
The Padre course gets less recognition than the Ambiente but it is still a great track.Pace of play was a little slow but still made it around in 4 1/2 hours.i will play this course again and again

Sharpen your hole cutter!
First time playing this course and made the drive from east Mesa area. Got a very good price of $26 to play. Course was in great shape except for the greens being to dry resulting in your ball not holding on approach shots. I normally hit a very high ball and I wasn't making any kind of divot on the greens. Also, the grounds crew either needs to sharpen their hole cutter or teach the guy how to cut holes. They looked like they hadn't had new holes cut for a month. A lot of puts that would normally drop on a crisp cut hole didn't because of such poorly cut edges.

Good Course Hot Day
Ive played the links style course they have there and wanted to try out this one. Overall i enjoyed the course. Its not the hardest course and there are a lot of opportunities to score. Unfortunately the heat got to me and i ended up shooting in the mid 80s. Honestly i cant wait to go back and shoot in the 70s. Its a fun course. The ambiente course is much harder, but if you are looking for a great fun course the makes you be strategic, this is a great course for that. Honestly this course is in tremendous shape for August in Az. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to play a good course and get taken care of. Customer service is very important to this course and it shows. Staff was friendly and is willing to go above and beyond.

This is a great place to play
Plenty of challenge, greens were excellent, and views are terrific. As a first-timer, ran into a couple of problems with mised fairways. Really enjoyed this course.

great summer course
We played the Padre course- This course is in excellent condition. Fairways are beautiful. Distinct seperation between rough and fairway, but rough isnt too long. Well placed bunkers are easy to avoid using the In-cart touch screen GPS. I have Only played one course this summer with nicer greens (~12 courses). The beverage cart came around often, and there were water bottles and towels in our cooler when we started. I look forward to playing here again and again.

excellent course. , good challenges at times
I play this course all the time , and it's just as challenging as the week.before. If you play from the blacks, you really get a feel of the entire course.
Always a challenge, and I will continue to play there as much as possible.
Only 1 small complaint. They air'd the greens , so putting was not that great , but.I consider it General maintenance, so They should roll well within the next week or so.

Fun course
This is a nice course for those who don't want to be punished severely for any and all misdirected shots. The fairways are generous and there is usually an opportunity to recover from stray shots. If you seek a course that demands precision, the Ambiante course is also quite nice.

Great course. Lots of green and never had to wait or had people waiting on us. Nice staff too.
Good value good quality
I booked my round the night prior and was pleased with the quality. The pace of play was rather slow but most public venues have the same miss you want to Saturday morning.
Great experience!
First time playing this course. Have heard great things and was curious to decide for myself. Awesome staff from the moment we got there. Set us up with water, fresh towels, and an ice-filled cooler before we headed out for our round in the 110 degree heat.
Course was in great shape. Bunkers were well maintained and the greens were awesome. Course played fairly easy but had challenging bunker placement. Was an absolute steal as the Hot Deal via GolfNow.

The padre greens are as good as I have seen. The fairways and rough is in great condition. We played at 4 hours to complete our round
