Lack of maintenance, plug drains, rough and weeds out of control, I’ve been playing this course for 25 yrs! By far the worst shape. They way over charged for the conditions. I won’t be back!!

Don’t waste your time or money! An absolute dog track! Even at $45 that’s $44 too much for this place. Unless you shoot over 120 don’t bother this place was absolutely awful ! Tee boxes sucked, greens sucked, bunkers unplayable! No water on course at all! In short you are better off staying home than playing this course!! One of the Worst courses I’ve EVER PLAYED!

Northdale of previous years was worth the 30 something dollars you paid for 18. Now, you pay the same price for much better kept and fun courses in the area. The last two times I’ve played here the greens were a mess, the fairways are brown (in a rainy season) and not to mention as of lately the crowd that gathers there have been golf snobs pushing for you to finish at an ungodly rate. 18 within 3 and a half hours is an acceptable rate of play but the people behind you expect you to finish in 3. This used to be my go to local course as I tried to learn and navigate a game I’ve come to love. Now I’ll avoid it.

My impression from rumors I heard a year ago was the course was under new management and they were going to put money into the course. I believe they redid the greens and a year later some of them had bad spots in them. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Cart paths were crap as they have been for a long time. I like the layout and it’s a challenge but for $30 on GolfNow I guess you get what you pay for. I was very disappointed.

Our 9 holes after work was a success! The course was quiet and easy pace to play.

Much nicer than I've ever seen it. Grass on fairways not hardpan. Greens primarily in good shape. Good speed.

If you haven't been here recently, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Had a specific tee time told I was paired with a 3 group,told to wait,they were 15 min late,no one came out to tell me,went in side asked what's going on ,they said go play ,meanwhile 2 groups jumped in front of me, not acceptable

Fairways excellent if you like a little grass and not hard pan. Greens mostly good shape,a few in repair, but overall good.

I’ll keep this review short and sweet. The staff were friendly. The course was definitely a mixed experience. The fairways were nice from what I can remember. However, some of the greens were rough. One of the greens was basically half dirt and half green. Of course I tried to putt over the dirt patches and my ball basically went off-roading. Other greens weren’t nearly as bad as that one but definitely need some tlc. As others have stated, some of the tee boxes were rough with weeds growing inside them. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience as my group did have fun but we definitely have reservations about returning unless the greens were improved. Not trying to sound picky or high strung but seriously a green shouldn’t have patches of dried brown dirt within putting distance of the pin. I'd definitely double check before paying full price.

Having played this course many times it's been improving but still needs some TLC. The fairways are in pretty good shape, turf is good. Off fairways they trimmed the rough and it was good to play out of. The course plays dead, not much bounce on stingers and balls hit into the rough or on uphill to greens, they stop rolling. Some of the greens are patchy and many have no green at all. Large patches of uncovered green that has sand on it. I wouldn't pay more than $30 to play here until the greens are repaired and I forgot to mention some of the tee boxes are chewed up.

Forest trac at The Eagles is IMHO the best of the two. Too many weeds in greens. Some bad greens but improving. Fees mid-Summer and considering conditions not great value. There are worse.

The course is in pretty good condition. I love it because it challenges you and is friendly. The staff there are great and always pleasant. I would definitely recommend playing here.

While the staff was working hard to mow the non-playing areas of the course which had grown up due to rain the fairways were green and well mowed. The greens were mostly in good shape and rolled true. I enjoyed the layout and will play the couse again.

First green is more sand than grass. Course overall isn’t in great shape. Place is kinda old and run down. Staff was friendly other that the worker who brought his little grandson out and was tying up the 9th hole and then argued with us about letting us through.

The course still needs a little work, but you can see they are making progress. Greens had been aerated about 3 weeks ago., but looking better. The layout is good especially for the price. Not sure why, but the pace of play was not an issue. Maybe less play because of Fathers Day. Played in 4 hours. Good bar for after round drinks

Played Sunday June 8, course was in fair condition...greens need water and growth after aeration. Very bumpy throughout. Pace of play was pretty good. Will play again but not at a premium price!
