A bit Ragged
Fairways were really rough. Greens had been sanded and were very fast. Cart path has many potholes. Overall, the course could use some TLC. A bit sad, since we enjoyed the layout.
Tough course for the money
Stay in the fairways and you’ll have a chance. Greens are fast.
Really Going the Wrong Way! Worst course in the area....
Sad to see conditions worsening at Norhtdale. If you thought it could not get worse, it has. IMHO they must be getting ready to develop this place? Otherwise why would they let it get this far out of hand?
Disappointing
I’ve never need too hard on this course. It’s cheap and I don’t expect a beautiful course with amazing greens and luscious fairways, but I do at least to expect the greens to have grass and not be torn up throughout. They must take reservations every five minutes. I paid for 18 but after 3.5 hours for 9 holes I was shot. I went out at 2pm on a Friday.
I’m going to take a break from here for awhile. Babe Zahara same price but better condition and a Ranger
Fast Greens
Course in pretty good shape. Greens fast but some need work.
Avoid At All Costs!
Played this course today am. Course in terrible shape! The worst I’ve ever seen it. Greens fast, but you have to avoid patches of cut out holes, sand traps on the greens and gouges implemented. Very hard to find a fair putt at times. Fairways were like playing on a wet muddy field. Hole #1 around green you need boots to get to green their is so much mud!! We paid $35 and it was too much!! Course not worth more thsn $20 if that. I will not be returning anytime soon. I highly recommend you stay away from this course unless you drink heavily prior. Not Good!
Average condition
About a third of the fairways were rough , hardly any to no grass. Also about half of the greens had some repairs going on. Because of that, it was not crowded and had a good pace.
Incredibly bad
Not much to say that hasn’t already been said from other reviews, but this course has the worst conditions I have ever seen in all the years I’ve been playing. And they’re charging 45 bucks for it a round?? Either the current owners of the property are driving it into the ground to allow for more housing, or the manager and groundskeeper needs to be replaced. This is very sad because it’s a nice layout. I won’t be back.
greens are gone
The greens are 30-40% sand patches with divots. Good luck finding a 3 foot putt on grass. Better off holding a putting contest in parking lot. Close to my house, but I'll not be returning.
Cold Wet Fun
Had three tee times of gap tooth mouth breathing porch dwellers, who think they can play golf. Had to cancel two tee times when 8 of them exclaimed "Meow it's gonna rain" and stayed home. Myself and three other morons had a great time. The price was right, the staff were friendly and the course is much better than a year and a half ago, when we swore we would never return. The front nine was chilly and windy (like my ex). As we got to ten , what had been a light misty rain became a steady one. The front had arrived. We finished ten out and played 18 in, before running for the club house. We may not be very bright but we had fun. Trying again tommorow with the full group.
Embarrassed at first sight
The gentlemen at the counter who looked like the manager ( everyone else was 15 years old) was extremely rude as I had a rider and apparently they don’t do riders. According to him, it’s unfortunate that on busy days “GolfNow” don’t tell the customers that we don’t do riders.
I’m pretty sure that GN it’s what keeps them in business. The course is in horrible shape, the atmosphere is thick and the service is far from good.
I’ll take my rider and my money elsewhere. Bye bye.
