New ownership hashown it’s worth
I’ve been playing here at least once a week for the past 7 years as I lived close. 6 months I moved 45 minutes away. I was excited to get back to my old “Home Course “
I remembered that new ownership took place ver a while ago.
As soon as I got my brand new cart. Oh this is nice, they are putting $ back into the business. But then to the practice green. Eeeeeks! Brown spots and dirt spots all over it. Loos cut grass as well. And each and every othe hole was the same. Tees were VERY beat up too. Looked like both the pins and tees haven’t been changed for quite some time. Nowhere was a bush trimmed.
I was very sad to see the condition of this course
I really used to enjoy it
Worse ever
I have played this course for many years, but I have never seen it in such poor condition. The greens were covered in sand, the fairways had carved ruts from golf carts, the cart trails were full of pot holes and the cost was the highest I;ve ever paid. Not to be mean, but I will never play this course again.
Give this course another try
This course is improving. The rough has been cut, the fairways are coming back, and the greens (sanded on this day) putt well. Ignore the down reviews -- Northdale is great value for money.
Solid Overall
Played it on a Hot Deal for what I paid the course was great. It was in pretty good shape, maybe could’ve looked prettier but nothing that messes with how the course plays. Nothing crazy challenging. Heard they’re going to continue to work to bring this place back, they’re on the right track.
I always like playing Northdale
Course was in pretty good shape. I always enjoy playing here. It’s a challenging course.. green s are fast.
Nice but tough course
I love playing here. Challenging and the greens are fast.
Sad
It looks like the place is getting ready to sell. Course isn't maintained from Tee box to green. Pro Shop looks empty. Really sad, it's seems to be on the path of Pebble Creek Golf Course.
Great course
I love the challenge the course offers. Greens are fast.
Course conditions were horrible
I've played on some courses where the conditions were horrible. But this is one is in the top 5 worst ones.. The tee box was flooded, and not from the rain, but because they had left the sprinkler on all night. We were one of the first ones to tee off that morning, and we couldn't even tee off, because that had an inch of water in it. Some of the greens were so bad, that you couldn't tell if they were
a sand trap or the green. And as I played along the course, several times my ball had rolled into deep ruts in the grass from where golf carts had gone over and dug a trench when it was either raining or had flooded from poor water management. I didn't even play the entire 18 I stopped at the 9th hole. Personally I won't be back.
Poor condition
The course is in bad shape, both fairways and greens. Pace of play was super slow. Players would hit several balls and didn’t let you play through. It was the longest round of golf ever. Course layout is nice and staff is friendly.
