About
Northdale Golf & Tennis Club remains one of the premier Tampa golf courses because of its affordable play, its use of water on 11 of 18 holes, bunkers, rolling undulations and contoured greens that really challenge players. Just 12 miles north of Tampa International Airport, this is a neighborhood golf course with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that will add to the enjoyment of your day. Renowned golf course architect Ron Garl designed the par 72, 6824-yard championship golf course. Northdale Golf & Tennis Club winds its way through 180 plus acres of property that is home to Brushy Creek and a series of small lakes and unspoiled wooded areas.

NORTHDALE GOLF & TENNIS
Course was in horrible condition. Only decent takeaway was the greens . More than likely my last time playing this course.
Nice course
Very nice course for the money.friendly staff .it has a driving net and putting greens to practice always a plus.

Ground crew is standing on greens watering greens while trying to put. Weeds everywhere.
Decent course for the money
This a nice course but evident that it has seen better days. The layout is open on some holes, tight on others. The greens are really nice. The putted true and we’re fairly quick. The teen behind the counter in the pro shop was not friendly and seemed to care less that I was even there. When I stated that it was my first time there, he offered nothing. For the money it is an ok course.
Holy Weeds!!!
The greens were in great shape but the clover weeds around the fairways are horrible. Lost multiple balls in areas that should be cut much better. Maybe they forgot to pay the landscaping crew for April, but it’s a shame because there’s no reason any course this time of year should be this bad.
Nice and somewhat refreshed course
This was the first time I have played at Northdale in a couple of years. Before you could tell that the course was and off site amenities were in bad shape and the clubhouse felt like it was from the 80’s. Now it looks like there is new ownership and they are trying to improve the course condition and upkeep of the grounds. The greens played well and were in good shape. The clubhouse bathrooms were clean and pro shop was updated. I did not have a chance to check out the updated restaurant, but it looked interesting with some Chinese food options. I would play this course again.
Slow Greens, bad fairways and rough
Don't miss the fairways, you end up in deep clover or dirt with a little clump of grass....which describes the fairways also.
Course Conditions
This course has so much potential. But the cart paths needing repairs and the many weeds in Fairways keep this course from reaching it.
