Some interesting holes. Reasonable maintenance. Good value for money. But on course bathrooms are disgusting.
Regular at north dale service has went downhill
Played this morning there was 16 people on one hole. Took me almost 2 hours to play 4 holes I went to the pro shop and I was told the Jew owners are strict about a rain check policy. You should obviously schedule your tee times and enforce them with a starter. It’s a free for all at this place no pace nothing enforced won’t be back and I have played here once a week for years.
Course was wet that is to be expected. Front nine greens were good. They spiked the back nine greens as we played, disappointing
Great course
Course was in great shape for all the rain we received
Terrible shape
This is usually a fun course and you just have to expect a slower pace of play. But right now the course is terrible. The greens aren’t bad but the rest of the course is awful. We expected it to be a little wet but it was worse. Lots of soft spots that would cause you to plug even if you hit it dead down the middle. The rough was a swamp with probably 6-12 inches tall grass. You wouldn’t see your ball unless you were standing on top of it. I won’t be back until they shut down to rework things and let it heal.
This course needs to invest in a lawn mower
The course was pretty enough but the grass was WAY WAY WAY too long! I guarantee you that it would be easier to find a golf ball in your neighbor’s lawn who only mows once a month! We spent probably 45 minutes looking for our balls in the FAIRWAY!! I don’t know what was going on that they haven’t gotten around to mowing but it was a wreck of a course finding your golf ball. It probably could be a decent course if they would take care of their grass. But it was very frustrating having to constantly be digging through long grass to find a golf ball. I’ve never seen a course in such condition before. It was AWFUL!
Not now
Played this course in the past and have never seen it in such bad shape. I know you cannot control the rain but it was terrible. Almost unplayable, Cart path only and it’s still to wet. When you hit what you think is a great shot but can’t find your ball because it’s plugged deep in the ground that’s a problem.
Rude Ranger
I am honestly shocked at my experience at this course. First the course was so we and sloppy it shouldn’t have even been open. If they were going to open, they should have let customers know how bad the course was beforehand and possibly offer some type of discounted rate. Secondly the staff was extremely rude. The ranger was extremely unprofessional, yelling at us from across the course and being aggressive with us when we were very apologetic for driving off the cart path (by less than 10 feet to a high dry area). He was dressed unprofessional and acted unprofessional. I will never return to this course.
Ridiculous
Northdale should not have been open this past weekend due to the amount of rain received over the last few weeks. We lost golf balls hit in the middle of the fairway due to the grass being so long. No one can control the weather, but to charge full rates for that experience is unacceptable. We found a high dry area to drive the cart on as we were in the process of trying to find our golf balls in the fairway, and the Ranger literally screamed at us in a way that will prevent us from going back. Northdale should be embarrassed and the punk Ranger who tried to use the Ranger tag on the front of his cart to belittle paying customers should be fired.
BYE BYE NORTHDALE
This used to be my go to course. Was always a good value for the condition but unfortunately can no longer say that. I understand weather played a factor but this course looked horrible today. Not to mention one of the holes literally didn’t have a fairway cut. My playing partner and I both hit dead center “fairway” and still had to walk around for 5 minutes looking in the deep grass to find the ball. This course seems to have gone down hill since being sold. Looks like I will be finding a new home course
Unhappy and unappreciated
When I arrived they told me we could not use electric carts or push cars. They would not refund my money or give me a rain check. The conditions were terrible very muddy and wet the golf course should’ve been closed. The Guy at the front desk was rude and I did not give me respect.I did not appreciate that I was with Golfnow either. I would greatly Thebes experience a F,
I will not return unless I apologize and/or reimburse me!
Worst course in Tampa
This is without a doubt the worst course in Tampa. New owner has let this course fall apart. Woke up and decided since previous groups drove off cart path on cart path only day everyone would walk from then on. This course has poor tee boxes, worse fairways and is the wettest course ever made. I would pay 100 dollars and play TPC tampa before I paid 3 dollars to play this course. If I could I would give it 0 stars.
Wet course
I went on a day after we had plenty of rain the course does not drain well at all. Soggy drenched fairways and i am glad I only paid $14 I feel bad for the other players who paid over $20 for it.
Obviously Not at it's Best!!!
The course was in poor condition as are the properties around most of the course. Lots of rain has not helped the badly deteriorating cart paths. The course doesn't seem to have very good drainage and because of that the rough was so shaggy that you could lose a ball six inches off the fairway. It was cart paths only for the same reason and I would probably never play the course again. The fairways and greens were ok but both needed some attention that it seems they had not gotten for too long.
