Cinnabar Hills Golf Club - Canyon/Mountain

Always enjoy Cinnabar Hills, but today was perfect. Fairway was watered nicely, temperature was perfect with light wind.

Shot my personal best 2 over on Lake course today.

upkeep on this course was great. layout is a great mix between challenging and simple which resulted in a great day of golf.

Absolutely beautiful course, with amazing views. The course was challenging with fast greens, and elevated tee boxes. My only complaint, no beverage cart.

Would play again.

Course in great shape. Greens very challenging with speed and undulation. Played Lake then Canyon. Excellent layout with one exception. #7 on Canyon is a stupid hole. Reminds me of the uphill hole with 12 foot flag stick at Lake Chabot in Oakland. As dumb as #6 at Wente.....Practice greens were recently punched and sanded. No relation to speed on the greens on the course. Took 3-4 holes to adjust to the correct speed. There was a wedding reception going on in the club house so had to wait about 15 minutes to get a post round brew. Next time it will be a weekday.

Turned out to be a fine test of golf on well manicured fairways and fast true greens for $65 per player.

Scenic winding holes on terrain that requires precise shotmaking makes this layout a real test.

I played on five courses in the 8 days in California, 2 on very private country clubs, and Cinnabar had the finest greens.

Wish I lived in San Jose to play this regularly.

My wife, who is a 30 handicap also loved it.

played in 3.5 hours as a twosome slowed down on the 14th by a foursome. Slow in to the 18th

For $50 (golfnow price), this deal is a steal. The course was in great condition, and was fun and challenging.

It's a difficult corse many ways to challenge your game. But, still lots fun . Corse always in good condition.

Great coarse, 3 nine holes so each time I have played was a little different. Challenging coarse! Love it.

I do like this venue, however, the greens on our day seemed to be too hard and fast. They were more of a brown color than green. They were, however, consistent. Layout is quite challenging, especially if you are not consistent with your game. Staff is exceptional across the board. Overall a really nice facility, but bring your B+ game to score within a few strokes of your handicap.

I enjoy playing Cinnabar Hills. The course is always in great shape. I was paired up with a twosome and another single. We were a little behind at the turn after playing the Mountain course, and I was surprised when a staff member met us at the 9th green, handed us scorecards for the Lake course (we were originally supposed to play the Canyon course) and told us "it would be better". No explanation.

Many praise as one of the best course in the South Bay. I object to that opinion. It is one of the best courses in the Bay Area. Course layout is awesome. challenging but reasonable to play depending which tee box you play from but be forewarned play within yourself. We believe this will challenge your skills and enjoy playing.

I always enjoy a good round of golf when the price is right at Cinnabar. A very classy place. They even sent a guy out when we called about our cart running out of electricity.

However, near the trap on #4 on the Canyon course we encountered an adolescent rattler. Very unnerving. While I like the wilderness aspect of Cinnabar, I probably won't play there again.
