Willowick Golf Course

Course conditions were some of the worse I’ve ever seen. I’ve lived on multiple golf courses so I’m familiar. Branches and potholes were everywhere. The course layout/upkeep was so bad + lack of signage (some were missing) that the group in front of us TEED OFF IN THE WRONG DIRECTION.

I golf with the same group of people and we lost about 10 or 11 balls… we normally lose 3-4

Don’t seem to have any grounds keeping crew as there are tons of pot holes, fallen trees and patches all over fairways.

I gave 5 stars for staff friendliness because that dude who works the window is nice. Unfortunately that's the only redeeming quality of this course...

The pictures on here are very misleading. I left my phone in the car, but I regret it, because I wanted to take photos of how awful the fairways are. I mean, really really bad. Potholes everywhere, massive sections of dirt, fallen trees covering cart paths and parts of the fairway, etc. The greens are in OK condition but man, just really disappointed. I'm not kidding, there's literally a small homeless camp about 70-80 feet from the 5th tee box. God only knows what's going on over there.

If the green fees were $15 I probably wouldn't be writing this, but to charge $29 or even $40 during peak times is an absolute joke. And with how packed the course was, where is all the money going? If you don't believe me, go play this course today and find out for yourself.

I hope they can turn this course around because it's in a convenient area and I can tell it would be a decent course if they just gave the fairways some love, picked up a few fallen trees, and cleaned up that homeless camp. The fact that I'm even saying that is ridiculous. The layout is good, it's not too hard, some of the holes are interesting and fun, but the condition of the course makes it hard to find your ball in the fairway at times and that's incredibly frustrating. Will not be returning any time soon...

If you like homeless people camping out on course , spray paint gang symbols on the hole markers, then this is the course for you.

I love this course. The price is affordable and staffs are very friendly. I definitely would like to play this course again.

Course is player-friendly. Greens are better after being recently aerated. Would llike to see better care for the fairways. Need to work on the drainage.

Also, need to have some offerings for food and refreshments.

Wide forgiving fairways makes for a less frustrating day of golf. This is a muni, so don't expect super groomed fairways! But it is a fun course

Player in our group got so frustrated he threw his scorecard away ..laughed the rest of the round ,

Told the guy in the pro shop we made a GOLFNOW reservation for 10:50am. He asked if we were walking or riding. I said our reservation said it should come with a cart for $40.

He said not what I asked... Kind of bummed me out to be talked to like that by some stranger. The guy has one job to give good customer service and cant even do that right.

They also didn't have any range balls available.

Bar was closed too.

Pot holes on the cart path were a joke . Fill them...

Get the worthless guy from the pro shop to go pick up range balls and fill the pot holes. He shouldn't be dealing with the public if he doesn't know how to speak to customers.

We arrived and were notified that the back nine was closed and being aerated , no prior notice so we had to play the front nine twice.

The staff is very friendly but there are no amenities available at the course. The course is beat up and old, there are very few cart paths and those are beaten up.

This course is old, but works if you just want to bang around some balls with buddies and have a fun time.

It was half-opened due to the renovation of the course..

I left the course after the 9th hole.
