About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Nice Course - Worth Playing
Course is in nice shape and challenging. Greens are fast and well maintained. The only issue we found was the pace which resulting in waiting at least 5 minutes at every tee box. Hopefully your experience is better. Regardless, would play here again.

Great course!!
Start to finish I had a very good experience at your course. From the greeting at the bag drop through the round, it was great. The course was in great shape for this time of the season. Special mention to the course maintenance staff who were out on the course. They were very considerate. Also they do one awesome of a job to make the course in prime shape. Had a very good lunch afterwards. The food was great and the beer selection was good. The bartender was awesome. Thanks again
Unbelievable
Beautiful course. Great staff. 17 of the 18 holes have water. Did not lose a ball which I can't believe. Ready to go back and play again.
Totally disappointed
5 plus hour round. No ranger to be seen. Five foursomes in a match who took forever. On 18th tee you could observe 6 groups on 2 holes. Course in marginal shape. Unduly pressured at end of round by cart guys chasing tips. Won't be back.
Total disappointment
5 plus hour round as we followed a group of 20 golfers playing match play who should have stayed home. On the 18th tee there were 6 groups on 2 holes. Never saw a ranger. Course in very marginal shape. Almost assaulted by cart guys at end of round trying to get tipped for cleaning clubs. Had heard good things but will not return. Many better values out there.
First day
Had a great time as rain stopped. Friendly staff and course was fun. Greens were quite good and rolled well. Will play again.

Very nice!
Fast Hard Greens
The course is a nice layout especially for a "community" style golf course.The fairways were nice with plenty of grass, the greens were fast but true. The only problem was the 20 MPH wind that gusted with surprises both on approach shots and putts.Somehow, with sixty yard approach shots, I almost always ended up with a thirty foot putt.
Fantastic course for the money. The wife and I played at 7:30 am and felt like we had the course to ourselves. Will definitely play again next time we’re in Tampa.

Best I have ever seen the course and greens were really. Will play again soon.
Good Course
I would play it again. Nice layout. Greens were not very receptive even though i hit a high ball. Does not appear that they have been aerated or the course over-seeded
Loved the course
Tough, but fair course with trouble awaiting errant shots. Great value for $$. Only problem was slow play. Assuming at such a good price and such a good course it gets a few too many high handicaps who don’t understand what ready golf is.
