About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

At long last Yuengling
Have enjoyed this course many times over the years and only found fault I could not get a frosty draft Yuengling after my round. Guess what? They now have Yuengling on tap in frosty mugs, my life is complete! Staff in top notch, couse in good condition, F&B consistently good. Course layout is great. Enjoyed WestChase immensely.
Mega Kurs - der Beste den ich bisher in Florida spielen durfte
Negativpunkte zum Start:
- es gab leider keinen marshall der Wert auf schnelles Spiel gelegt hat, damit war in Summe Pace of Play eher träge
- unterwegs gab es keine Verpflegung durch ein mobil, allerdings gab es Wasserstationen und zwischen Tee 9 und 10 war man auch wieder am Clubhaus
Positive Punkte:
- alle Menschen rund um das Golfspiel waren super freundlich vom Empfang bis hin zum Cart Return
- richtig viele tolle Löcher, gut ist, wenn man mit jemandem zusammen spielt der schon einmal vor Ort war
- der Zustand des Platzes war wunderbar, lediglich die Grüns waren durch eine lange Saison etwas in Mitleidenschaft gezogen
-viel Ruhe und tolle Natur und Tierwelt, nachdem man bei den Löchern 2,3,4 und 5 noch etwas mit dem Highway Verkehr zu tun hat ist man bei den restlichen Löchern völlig für sich
Ein toller Platz den ich nur jedem empfehlen kann, der wie ich keine Chance hat auf einen der tollen privaten Kurse der Region eingeladen zu werden
Great Course
First time playing this course. Beautiful course, excellent pace of play. So nice to have a course that pays attention to the course of play and paces the golfers so well. No waiting at all. Beautiful greens and fairways. Friendly staff.
A+ 4.2 solid
The only complaint is there are so many ball marks on the greens it does bounce and effect putts left or right
Course in good Condition
Played this course several times in the past. Since there’s been little rain prior to us playing, the course had no wet areas or “cart path only” holes.
Hard, but fair…..
This is a “shot placement” course. Driver not recommended on holes where you would normally use it. Tight fairways on some holes with hazards all in the right places.
Conditions are meeeh
Greens are in terrible condition and bounce everywhere. Weeds and huge bare spots throughout the course.
The greens are despicable, fairways horrible and the bunkers I can't even come up with a word for. A disgraceto the town of Westchase!!!
Golf course
I found the course carts that we had to buy when it was cert path only were subpar. No GPS, which for a course as tight and gimicky as this one would have been nice.
I found the greens were slow.
Didn’t see cart girl very often.
GPS carts would make it a much more favorable exposure.
everything is good except
the course is in very good condition, the greens have good speed, but too many ball marks left by golfers. let’s go every body makes an effort.
Best golf value in Tampa area
A beautiful course, well maintained and well managed. Excellent guest service. The course is challenging but does not beat you up. I’m an 11 index and played from the white tees. Thoroughly enjoyed the round.
