About
Designed by Lloyd Clifton, Westchase winds through acres of lakes, conservation areas and forest. It offers manicured greens surrounded by natural wetlands, wooden bridges and bulkheads. With its 9,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, full-service dining room, and fully stocked pro shop, Westchase offers a country club atmosphere along with first-class service. The golf club has established itself as one of Tampa Bay's best upscale golf facilities. The front nine meander through an impressive pine forest. The back nine -- which is demanding on the tee shot -- features lakes, wetlands and cypress. Strategically placed bunkers, more sparkling lakes and stands of cypress, oak, palmetto and pine frame the fairways and greens. Signature Hole No. 3, at 212 yards from the back tee, is all you can handle -- It's a Par 3 all-carry over water from the back tee!

Great course
Tee box and fairways are in pretty good condition. Greens are still sandy from being recently aerated, but I knew that before playing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I have always enjoyed playing at WC.
Good course but got rained out
Everything was great up until it started down pouring rain on me. I was able to snatch up a deal time, which made the price unbelievable but since they closed the course they gave me a rain check for the back nine but at the price I paid for. This means I will be paying more money to replay the 9 holes I was able to finish because they only honor the price I paid and not what is going to cost me to play nine holes ( at a deal time price ) not fair to me!!
Well maintained
The price is a little higher than other courses but the conditions are excellent.
Current conditions
Course is in decent shape but not as good as it can get. , I am glad they lowered the price some. Staff is friendly pace was good. Played on a Friday afternoon 4 hours

Good course, greens need a little help, kind of bumpy but good pace
Good condition for season
Was really happy about the condition of course overall, but the prices are slightly higher than comparable ones in the area. Moved along pretty quickly on most holes with a little over 4 1/2 hour round. They have cut down thickets and trees along several approaches but with fallen trees still laying in same area not really helpful if you’re off fairway. Still out of bounds and lost balls. If you land in it. Aesthetically more pleasing prior. Greens in better shape than my previous rounds, Driving range and 2 putting greens to warm up on with fully stocked pro shop and kitchen with fast food options at the turn.
Drought has not been kind to many courses locally but WESTCHASE seems to have survived better than most. Limited breaks on price and sometimes hard to get reservations but stands as a great choice when looking for a fun round
Very tight course and must hit creative shots.
Greens were below average. Not sure why they seemed very dry and very slow putting. Course had lots of play and not as nice as the pictures advertised.
Da bomb
Wonderful course with so many interesting holes. Great design even though it meanders thru a neighborhood you feel like you are out in nature. No round would be complete without a frosty mug of Yuengling afterwards and they have that too. All the staff I have interacted with there have been courteous and helpful. GPS on carts would be the next step toward perfection.
