About
Located just 20 minutes from downtown in the Forest Hills section of Tampa, Babe Zaharias Golf Course meanders through a tree-lined residential neighborhood. The golf course measures a modest 6,020 yards, but should not be taken lightly. Although both nines on "The Babe" are par 35, the back side sports four par-4 holes in excess of 400 yards, providing a challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

The regular guys !
I came down on vacation and chose Babe as one of my courses to play. I got paired up with 3 guys who play there together all the time. They were welcoming and fun to play with. The course was suitably challenging and fun. It was in good shape and I had a really fun outing . I would totally play there again.
Municipal Golf
By far the best of the municipal tracks in Tampa but by far in the worse conditions. Even the tip greens were suboptimal.
Beautiful Day
Course is in terrible condition from tee to green. End of story!
Fine lay-out, fairway grass too poor and yellow
Excellent layout
Greens fine, but fairways too dry and irregular.
Too slow pace on day.
Golfing
The friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere made it a great day to play gold on their course. The course layout is pretty straightforward, making it a good choice for golfers. My daughter and I had a great day!
Babe Zaharis
Greens were in bad shape. Fareways were below average.
Great Course for the Money
It’s not going to be the best course you play. There are definitely some holes that are really weird, but it’s a decent spot nonetheless. I’ve been there when the greens are fantastic but on this last play they needed some work. There’s also a few holes with standing water in the middle of the fairway which is unfortunate since it’s not designed to have water in those areas.
For the cost of the round, it’s not to bad and if you need to get a round in, it’s a great go to.
