About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Great beginners course
I’m a really new golfer so I haven’t seen a lot of courses yet but this one was the best bang for my buck yet! At around $20 with a cart you can’t beat it. The course itself was in pretty good condition, the greens were nice. Really helped me test my short game and learn my distances, I only pulled driver out of my bag once and honestly probably shouldn’t have. I can see my self frequenting this course often as I learn the game more. Note: Pace of play is a common complaint at this track but for a Monday morning we finished the round in about 3 hours only getting behind a (very slow) pair around Hole 14, I’ll likely stick to weekday morning tee times to avoid the weekend crowd.
Terrible Place to golf
Staff is rude and the rangers don't do their job. The pace of play is awful, and the rangers would rather stand around and do nothing especially Terry. I had a problem, and the owner of the course treated me as if I was a child rather than a grown adult. Would never play here again.
Course pace of play was very very slow, at times there were 3 foursomes at a tee.
The tee boxes and some of the greens need TLC.
Good course for the price
Mainly par 3. Great staff. No driving range. Absolutely no run off from the green to the next tee box. Better know your distances 😂
Angry Employees
Instead of being able to tee off at the time I paid for, I pushed back a total of a half hour & then paired up with another group. There were multiple workers on the course who were playing for free! That is totally unacceptable if you are gonna pair up random people together. Final thing whoever checks your receipt at the first tee box needs to go. His manners are horrible, he treats you like you are equal to him even though he should be serving you. Grabbed me by the arm and made me get into his golf cart with him. He really grabbed a random 20 year old like he was his own kid.
Affordable and value for your money
This is a great course to play with less experienced golfers, pace of play is relaxed and no one on the course is pretentious. There is a good mix of short and long holes.
Nice quick round
For my young daughter and me, no par 5s was perfect! Great, friendly staff! Loved the food at the turn! Fun course!
Slowly
To make game run smoother the golfers should be up and ready to play when it’s their turn not sit in their cart and watch. This would not hold up players behind them.
Slow poor condition
2hours 20 minutes for 9 hole on an executive course way too slow

I haven’t play Countryway in years. I brought my 13yr old son and friend to play on a course they could handle. They had a great experience.
