About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Great Value
Affordable course with plenty of water challenges.
Good Value
The course was in o.k. shape. The price is great for this time of year. We had some slow players in front of us but we weren't in any great hurry. Some of the greens were not in the best shape, but for the money it was worth it. Will return.
Extremely slow but good executive course
We teed off at 7:22 so pace of play wasn’t a problem, but when we made the turn there were 10 golf carts lined up on hole 1. It would be a disaster of a round if you played later in the day, but it was a nice course for our timing. Conditions were good except for the greens which were if fairly rough shape. Nice little tucked away course.
Short Game
This is an excellent course to work on your short game. Some of the greens were in kinda bad shape but I worked through the issues.
Great Value
Countryway is a short course. Many are learning, so be patient. They book close Tee times opposed to other courses too. The combination does cause backups. It’s fun to practice a short game and when you have a friend that is learning, don’t worry too much. We all have to start somewhere, right?
