About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Golfer Reviews
5 years of experience
This is a smaller course that has a bunch of fun par 3’s with a couple 4 and 5’s. This really allows for the work of your irons.
Nice and a bit slow
We arrive for our tee time in plenty of time, but there was a league ahead of us which made for a slow movement on the course. The course was beautiful and well kept.
Novice fivesome and handicapped threesome ahead of us. Front nine took over 3 hours to play!
If you are just want to get out on a budget..
I like to play this course a lot. It's inexpensive it gets you out with friends and helps you work on your short game. Because it's an inexpensive you're going to have a lot of inexperienced and very young golfers who may not know about pace of play or other golf etiquette, but you get what you pay for to be sure.
You get what you pay for
Wasted a nice day on this course because of the 4 star review. It was cheap but not worth having to wait behind 1-2 groups on every single hole. I called it quits after 9 (over 2.5 hours) and will not return. They overpacked the course and were very disorganized.
Too short
It's a nice , but, short track. Need to be a good short iron and wedge player. The day I played was kind of rain on and off and it took the fun out of the game. Still, the price was right and I had a little fun.
SHort putts are too difficult. Pin placements are too difficult.
Overbooked and overwhelmed!
The cart attendant was overwhelmed and threatened that if we didn't play fast enough we would be pulled before we even started. He told my son that he was garbage because he felt like a few clubs were not enough for this par 3 course and wanted him to rent some. Very rude.
Overbooked and slow play
Every tee box was 3 groups deep waiting for 15 to 20 min. Felt rushed on every hole from groups pushing behind. Not worth it even for the cheap green fee.
Tune up round
Fun and normally not hard to book or too busy. For amount of use it's getting not terrible shape. Ended up waiting almost 10 minutes at each tee box to clear which detracts from round. Unusual and probably effects my play because I was rushing shots.
