About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Awesome executive course
Perfect little golf course for a fun reasonable round of golf. I’m a newer golfer so it is perfect for me and my husband can brush up on his short game
Course is getting much better. The fairways have been reseeded n r coming in C nice Greeens still need a little work but are improving a few more weeks and all should b good. I believe they should start enforcing the 90 rule n filling divots n ball marks on greens.
Great course!
I haven't played Countryway in a while but it didn't disappoint. It's a little bit of a commute for me but it was worth it. Great course friendly people at an incredible price. Very challenging place to practice your short game.
Slow play - growing grass
Many of the fairways were walking only because new winter grass is coming in. I understand that, but this caused a massive pile-up with two to three teams waiting for someone to finish at the green. They only alerted us after we had started our round, and didn't seem to really care. There was zero pace of play.
Amazing staff! Fairway is under treatment
I got the "best deal" online on a 7:50 AM Sunday tee time and ended up playing alone. The staff was very friendly and was diligently managing the players. A lot of the fairways were blocked off from allowing us to drive our cart in and it looks like a drop zone but it wasn't.
It's a short course and I hardly saw anyone walking, almost everyone had a cart which made the round faster for everyone.
It's a great beginner's course. The tee boxes were clear or not difficult to navigate. I will definitely come back if I'm in town.

EASY TO PLAY AND GREAT CONDITIONS FOR ALL GREEN AREA.
Terribly managed
Ended up leaving on the third hole as there was a party of six and two parties of 4 ahead of us amd the party of the 6 one guy was missing swing after swing while his buddies were teaching him how to hit and course officials were sitting there watching. This place is almost always over booked. The back 9 wasn't so backed up so they could start some people on 10 sometimes but the they never do. Poorly managed makes for terribly slow playing experience.
Great short-game practice course
Countryway is a great place to practice your short game. There are rolling fairways, tricky approach shots, and other challenges. It can get pretty busy at times.
Executive course, slow play, horrible greens
When we got to the course there were three foursomes waiting to tee off on the first tee. The starter had us tee off on 10. When we came around to tee off on hole one there was another backup. The greens were in terrible shape. There's a reason why it only cost $22 to play on a weekend. It's a decent course if you're a beginner and don't mind waiting.
