About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Very slow today.. The starter Jerry was very unpleasant today for some reason. Booked through Golf now with cart included,, and he insisted that i ride with somoene because i did not pay an additional 8 dollars for a single cart.
New to be the sport
Being a “newbie” I didn’t like a few holes that if I drove the ball to far, it could hit a car driving by. I also thought the greens were too close to the next tee. A couple times I over shot the green and luckily did not hit the guy teeing off in front of me.
Okay course
Thiis is a easy course for a low handicapper…if you can hit your ball 200 yds or more in play and have decent short game it’s the type of course you can pretty easily shoot in the 70s…overalls just ok douse conditions…for $25 or less it’s a good course..paying anymore I I wouldn’t recommend .
Nice layout but run down
Love this course but it has gone downhill the conditions. Wish they take care of it so I can go back for more. Green and tee boxes in very rough shape. Still had good time but won’t be going back anytime soon.
Pre-Family Reunion Golf Outing
We selected this course to play 9 holes because it is my home golf course. We also selected this golf course because of time constraints.
All in all we had a great time and finished around the time we set to complete the 9 holes.
Rained out after 9 holes
Usually golf courses will give you a 9 hole pass if I was rained out after playing 9 holes. They told me that I would have to call you to get my refund. What do I need to do?
Water hazards
The course is nicely laid out, but the conditions of the greens were horrible. Added easily 20 strokes to my score. Great value though
Rough greens
The course seems to be in the middle of upgrades, but the conditions of the greens added at least a stroke per hole. The value was great at $15 for green fees and cart but probably a one and done.
