About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Nice course for the wife and I to play
We enjoyed the course pace was good for my wife who is taking up the game
Great to practice short game
Best course around to practice short game. Entire staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the layed back atmosphere. Can't beat the price. Some of the greens were in a little rough shape.

Course is a good value for the money. It has some easy holes and with others more challenging. Greens are already starting to show signs of the hot weather.
It was good course to play and the price was right 20 bucks
I would play this course again but I would never pay over 30 dollars to play this course it is a good course some greens need work but it’s that time of season
Worst Day
Course conditions were horrible. Greens are fried and fairways overgrown with grass. Old timers course. Stuck behind senior foursome. 5 hours to play 18. Course needs tremendous work.
Great par 68 for the money
Only 20 to play for 4 hours. Overall conditions are very poor but doesn’t really matter for how cheap it is.
Great Executive Course
Great Executive Course for the money. Price is great. The courses are good. The people that work there really make the place. It really gets packed at CountryWay, but for all the right reasons. We usually have 2, 4 and sometimes 8 people with us, and always have a great time.
Great short-game course
This short-game course presents many challenges with lots of water features and undulating fairways and hilly sides. If you are looking for a place to improve you short game accuracy, consider this course.

Course is a good value for the money and has some challenging holes.
Terrible Ranger
We got to hole three and there were 4 groups waiting to tee off. Never seen anything like it. Every other hole had 1 group. We tried to skip a couple holes and pass up the clump of 4 groups, but the ranger flagged us down and had a fit. We ended up leaving because he insisted that we stay behind the clump of 4 groups all waiting to tee of on hole 3. God awful. Better off having no ranger. Guys in the pro shop seemed to agree that this guy was bad at keeping the pace and offered a refund but couldn’t provide it because we booked through golf now. Would love to get a refund from golf now.
