About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

4 hours 15 holes 3000 yards
I left after 15. Screw the entire course. They chose to send back to back to back to back to back to back groups with no respect for the game of golf. I have never waited so long on a tee box. I have never waited so long on a tee box consistently fkn every hole. You get what you pay for exactly. I brought someone out for their first time for a 5 year old kid to be 3 groups in front of us. I found out because 2-3 groups left the course after the first 9…
Whoever designed this course is an idiot. I have never seen so many balls hit carts. Do not play this course if you value life. These kids out here do not know how to play an executive course.
I’ve played golf for 2 years and I’ve never seen anything like it.
Good people
Good place just don't like having to pay for a rider. Pace of play is very slow i had a tee time at 2 and I got pushed with a group of 4 at 1:45
Don't be fooled by the short yardage.
This is a short, but very challenging executive course. You don't have to hit it long, but you will be in trouble if you don't hit it straight. Course conditions aren't perfect, but good enough for the casual golfer, like me.

A fun afternoon on a fun course
Decided to check out this small municipal course near our place in Westchase. It’s a collection of par 3’s and Par 4’s with a fun routing. Really good value for the cost but don’t expect to play quickly. Every Par 4 causes a huge back up with 2-3 groups waiting on every tee box. Once again, for the price, we had a great time
Great iron/short game practice
This golf course features mostly par 3 holes, and par 4 are no longer than 400 yards, making it ideal for honing your iron play and short game. The greens are in excellent condition, and the fairways are nearly as impressive. Both present varying levels of difficulty that go beyond what you would expect from a typical executive course. Additionally, you can complete all 18 holes in under 3 hours. It’s the best value in Tampa Bay.

30yrs later
I have not been there in over 30 years. It was interesting to see how different it looked with grown trees. Great value for the money. They probably squeezed too many on the course. Pace was terrible.
SLOW SLOW SLOW
Overcrowded course. Super slow pace of play. I’m not sure how this course is backed up all day every day. The course is nice enough. The course is short and fun. Lots of holes you can get on the green in one shot. The extreme wait times make it almost not worth it. The price is great but you’re better off paying more to play a better course with better pace of play.
