About
Countryway Golf Club is an executive golf course that is known for its extremely affordable rates. Situated in the heart of Westchase, it is considered one of the best values in Tampa Bay. The layout consists of eleven par-3 holes and seven par 4s. The golf course is challenging enough for more advanced golfers but it is still player-friendly enough for beginners to enjoy. The rolling terrain provides undulations in both the greens and fairways. The hills also make for some challenging putts. There is no shortage of water at Countryway Golf Club with hazards coming into play on 14 holes. There are also bunkers strategically placed throughout.

Great learning course
Great learning course. The staff is amazing and they have some of the best burgers!!!
Rookie player, nice and difficult course
Really nice course, crazy hills, 3 or 4 blind shot, just a couple of tees with water and really challenging greens, definitely we will come back
snow bird season
I know it's Feb. and snow bird season, but the waiting/ pace on the course on Sat. was incredibly slow. Everyone was very nice about it though!
not friendly at all
Definitely need to change some staff with better attitude A place like that needs to be more friendly. I think they’re comfortable with their job just laying around and have attitudes. I think it needs to change for sure that’s my opinion.
Hidden Gem in Tampa
Had the opportunity to play this course again since last year. I like the layout for this short course par 61.
The pace of play on this day was moving along well. There were some tough greens and easy greens , lots of water in play as well. Our foursome of intermediate golfers had a really good time , they all want to return again soon.
My cons are that there should be something at the tee boxes to put your broken tees in and maybe a few reminder signs to let people know “PLEASE DO NOT TO LITTER” on the course.

Marshals
I think you need to get marshals on the course to speed up play. We had a foursome in front on us, not keeping pace with the group ahead of them, because two people were more interested in finding lost balls in the water, than playing golf. This really slowed our game considerably.
Very challenging
This course is a very challenging tight layout. It has very small greens and an all around very tight course. The course was in great shape and I really enjoyed it.
COUNTRYWAY COURSE
This course is always a great place to learn and teach your wife or student to play. The greens need help quickly, but after that’s fixed the course will be outstanding
4 hours 15 holes 3000 yards
I left after 15. Screw the entire course. They chose to send back to back to back to back to back to back groups with no respect for the game of golf. I have never waited so long on a tee box. I have never waited so long on a tee box consistently fkn every hole. You get what you pay for exactly. I brought someone out for their first time for a 5 year old kid to be 3 groups in front of us. I found out because 2-3 groups left the course after the first 9…
Whoever designed this course is an idiot. I have never seen so many balls hit carts. Do not play this course if you value life. These kids out here do not know how to play an executive course.
I’ve played golf for 2 years and I’ve never seen anything like it.
Good people
Good place just don't like having to pay for a rider. Pace of play is very slow i had a tee time at 2 and I got pushed with a group of 4 at 1:45
