About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Western Skies
This is great course for getting started in golf. However the price was higher than other area golf courses for the condition it was in. Even though it was not in great condition, the staff and amenities helped overcome this.
Not bad for summertime
Played 8/28 as a foursome. Carts are electric, had ice buckets and GPS. Tee boxes mostly good, fairways not bad for summer, rough can be hard to find wayward balls, bunkers have sand but was wet due to recent rain, greens good but slow due to rain. Staff was pleasant. Did not use driving range. Beverage cart was around a few times. Filtered water at the restroom stops. Had lunch at Mulligan’s, nothing to brag about food wise there but the service was good. The course track is great for intermediate golfers!
Fun Par 72 Course, Nice People.
I always enjoy Western Skies. Somehow, the course is in great shape 365 days a year! But it's the people there that separate them from the golf-snob courses y'all might play. The staff, and even the players I meet there are always nice, and never snobs! Five Stars!
Course Was In Great Shape in Height of Summer.
They keep this course in great shape year-round. (So many courses aren't.) Tee boxes, fairways and greens are always well trimmed and green. The bunkers have good sand, but many are sometimes wet. The staff there are super nice, and the Cart Ladies are always available with refreshments and snacks.

Fun Par 72 Course in Great Condition, Fast Play
Somehow this course is always in great condition. (It's my home course.) It's a par 72 where I break 80 almost half the time. The staff there treat people like family! You'll like Western Skies. R. R.
Great Par 72 Course, Super Nice Staff.
FIVE STARS for Western Skies! (As always) The course is somehow always in great shape, with wide fairways and big flat greens. The layout makes it easy for any skill level to play their best, with only one water carry and very short desert carries. I shot a clean 77. I can't say enough about the people that work there. They are the best. Not a golf-snob among them!
Fun Par 72 Course in Great Condition
Western Skies is my home course, because I like the straight-ahead layout, wide fairways, big fair greens, and short desert carries. Pic of par 5 #13 has a 40 yard desert carry. The staff always treats me like family, especially Jim, Scott, Maddie, Leah, Payson, Matt, Ed, and Tigen! Also, I shot 77 last week!
Fun Par 72 Course, Nice Layout, Fast Pace.
Nice par 72 layout was in great shape, big fair greens and wide fairways. The round only took about 3 hours, and I was glad to beat the worst of the heat. The cart girl (Leah) made several rounds, and I was glad for that! The whole staff there is always nice to me. I didn't score well, but I still had fun!
