About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Nice course!
Very fair course! Fairways were green and greens were fast but overall nicely maintained!
Good Day at WS
Other than the slow pace as we followed some beginners around the course it was a good round. Course was in good condition getting ready for overseed. I’ll be back!
Steady Eddie
Layout is good, not great. Pace of play very good. Greens were quick and fairways pretty hard given the will close Monday for overseed. The attention to details is not there and fringe areas not well kept. Course had to drinking after and this was an issue. Overall, fun track and would play again
Good times
Golf course layout is nice, a little tight on some holes. Greens were hard and fast, fairways were spotty but playable. Staff were nice, play was slow. Will try again not in October.
Mid morning round
Course played really well, given they are in the middle of getting ready for over seed. Greens were fast, no spin. I had a good time.

Greens we’re in good condition rolling true. Fairways and rough cut down.
Course in Transition
WSGC was in transition to overseeding (dry conditions with all grass having been scalped). Ball would roll greatly over the hard surface; however, it was a challenge to hit off that same surface. Sand traps were in generally good shape. Greens were dry making it difficult to stay on in flight and rolled slow. Pace of play for our foursome was good (3:45), with a twosome in front of us and another behind us. Value was fair, given the conditions. I would give it 3+ weeks before playing here again.
Good value
The course was beginning preparation for overseeding; nevertheless, the course was in good condition. In particular, the greens were in excellent condition. Putts rolled very true. Obviously, conditions will change with the overseed.
The pace of play was excellent as we finished our round in 3 hours. Overall, I felt there was very good value for the golf experience.
Not bad
Course is in nice shape with greens rolling nicely. Definitely recommend!
Restaurant/bar could really use remodeling /updating/upgraded..
