Western Skies Golf Club

Course is very flat, and has a few dry ponds throughout the route. They’re working on eliminating uneven desert areas on the sides of some holes and with homes bordering a lot of the holes on at least one side, there’s a chance to go home with quite a few “yard balls” if you own a looong ball retriever (15ft minimum). Just don’t tick off the homeowner if he sees you poking around in his yard - and don’t hold up play! Course is very playable if no really what you would call signature holes…

First time playing this course. Pretty flat overall. Greens are in good shape, however, people don’t repair divots. Pace of play was adequate for cart path only. Overall worth the 1 hour drive. Will definitely make the drive again soon.

This course has nice wide fairways and big soft greens. Many of the par 4's are under 330 yards, and there are no long water carries or desert carries. The houses do not loom over every tee box like some courses, and the bunkers have good sand, although some are always wet. The staff there are super nice! Fun par 72 course!

Western Skies is always in great shape, and the people there were really nice. They let me tee off a bit early, and I played in 3 hours! The fairways are wide, and the greens big, fair and true. Great value for a nice par 72 course. R.R.

Western Skies is always in great shape, 12 months a year. It's a forgiving straight-ahead layout with short par 4's and big fair greens. The staff there are especially friendly, especially Scott, Jim, Ed, Dakota, Matt, Geoff, Maddie, Leah, Paysn and Tigen. I never take 4 hrs to play, even when it's busy in winter. Five Stars!

Western Skies features wide fairways, big fair greens, only two easy forced carries over water on #4 and #18. Somehow the course is always in beautiful shape, and the pace of play is excellent. The entire staff, and even the players I meet there are always friendly!

Course has wide fairways with no houses right in your way, big fair greens, and several short par 4's. The bunkers have good sand, but many are often wet. I can't say enough about how friendly the staff are, and the cart service is great. Especially with Maddie, Leah and Payson. R. R.

I like Western Skies so much because of wide fairways, short par 4's, big forgiving greens, and there's no houses encroaching on my tee shots. Playing time is always excellent, and the staff and even the players I meet there are super nice! (Not a golf-snob among them!) Five Stars! This is great course for getting started in golf. However the price was higher than other area golf courses for the condition it was in. Even though it was not in great condition, the staff and amenities helped overcome this.

Played 8/28 as a foursome. Carts are electric, had ice buckets and GPS. Tee boxes mostly good, fairways not bad for summer, rough can be hard to find wayward balls, bunkers have sand but was wet due to recent rain, greens good but slow due to rain. Staff was pleasant. Did not use driving range. Beverage cart was around a few times. Filtered water at the restroom stops. Had lunch at Mulligan’s, nothing to brag about food wise there but the service was good. The course track is great for intermediate golfers!
