Fantastic Course for the Money Compared to Other Greens Fees in the Area
Great course for the money. I am on a solo golf trip trying to play courses $125 or lower, not trying to break the bank. This was a reasonable $100ish round at 10:40am. Course was in pretty good shape for that price, pace of play was 4 hours. I would definitely reccomend and be back for sure!
Decent course, reasonably priced
Decent course, nice layout.
Good pricing on Golfnow
5min tee time gapping
5 min between tee times. Starts par 5,3,5,3...so quick backup on the 3s. 4hr 20min round. The dirt areas have gotten bigger. The brown grass is dry and brown. I'd almost prefer Kokapeli
Pretty good over all
Was a little wet from the two days of down poor before, fairways and greens were in great shape. Rough and waste areas could use some work. Got is for about 85$, it’s worth that much but I wouldn’t pay more then that for it.
Nice People, Fun Course!
The staff at Western Skies always treats me like family, so it's my favorite course. I really like how forgiving the fairways and greens are, and the course is somehow always in great shape!
Fun Course and Super Nice Staff!
I like the layout of this course, and I love the people that work there! I always have a good time. Not a golf-snob in sight, not even with people I play with. I'm not sure that Western Skies even allows snobs there! lol Five Stars! R.R.
Good job on their overseed.
Course is very flat, and has a few dry ponds throughout the route. They’re working on eliminating uneven desert areas on the sides of some holes and with homes bordering a lot of the holes on at least one side, there’s a chance to go home with quite a few “yard balls” if you own a looong ball retriever (15ft minimum). Just don’t tick off the homeowner if he sees you poking around in his yard - and don’t hold up play! Course is very playable if no really what you would call signature holes…
Worth the drive
First time playing this course. Pretty flat overall. Greens are in good shape, however, people don’t repair divots. Pace of play was adequate for cart path only. Overall worth the 1 hour drive. Will definitely make the drive again soon.
Nice Course and Great Pace.
This course has nice wide fairways and big soft greens. Many of the par 4's are under 330 yards, and there are no long water carries or desert carries. The houses do not loom over every tee box like some courses, and the bunkers have good sand, although some are always wet. The staff there are super nice! Fun par 72 course!
Fun Par 72 Course in Great Condition, Nice Staff.
Western Skies is always in great shape, and the people there were really nice. They let me tee off a bit early, and I played in 3 hours! The fairways are wide, and the greens big, fair and true. Great value for a nice par 72 course. R.R.
