About
The golf course at the Western Skies Golf Club has a traditional layout with many different challenges and beautiful views. Surrounded by picturesque mountains and valleys, the course offers a taste of the countryside, which is further enhanced by the many aged Mesquite and Pinon trees sprinkled throughout. It features tree-lined fairways with generous landing areas and tricky water hazards. Two notable holes are the 4th and 7th holes, both par 3s. Although it is a modest 186 yards, the 4th hole requires a carry over water to a heavily bunkered green. Western Skies Golf Club's 18th hole is a drivable par four with water along the right side, making this an exciting finishing hole.

Dry Conditions
I am from the Northeast and i’m not used to super dry conditions with little or no green grass/rough. I am aware there has not been much rain here and the large number of northern golfers migrating to AZ this time of year is driving up the green fees, but $85 seems a little steep to me.
Green Fairways
We really enjoyed this course. The greens fairways were a nice surprise! We usually can't find those under $100. The course appears to be well taken care of! We will be back!
Canadians
Fun course to play for couples as pretty wide open and straightforward. The last 3 holes took 45 minutes otherwise we would have been done in 4 hrs.
Impressive
Very impressed with this course. First time we played it and we really enjoyed it. Pace of play was great. We played under four hours. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The restaurant food was excellent would highly recommend.

The wide fairways, short par 4's, and big greens make Western Skies great for all skill levels, and super fun to play. The entire staff there always treats me like family! You'll like Western Skies. Five Stars!

Conditions
The course was well taken care of as well as the greens. The price was affordable for this course. One of the few courses that are in great shape.
FIVE STARS ALL AROUND
This course is always in near-perfect condition. With short par 4's, wide fairways and big, flat greens, it's easy to score well. The staff there is the best thing about Western Skies though. They always treat me like family. You'll like Western Skies. Five stars!

Good course
Everything was good including 3.5 hr pace on a friday 150pm tee time. My only complaint were the greens were a 6 speed. Im a bit of a green snob, and expecr 8 to. 11 on greens, paying over 100
Canadian foursome
Very wide open and easy for average and below average golfers to play, but course was in good shape so it made up for the simplicity of the layout. It took 4 hrs and 20 minutes to play - a little slow but okay. Great pre game practice greens, driving range to warm up on. I would play it again with my wife and friends.
Six some on the back nine!
Things were going well and then they inserted a six sum in front of us on the back nine! We waited on them on every hole for the rest of the round!
