Falcon Golf Club
About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business. The land was redeveloped to
an industrial/warehouse area.
Located near the Estrella and White Tank Mountains, the Falcon Golf Club is an affordable, user-friendly course with an interesting layout. The front nine has a target-style layout with a desert landscape while the back nine has a more traditional design. The greens are medium-sized with a subtle break and the fairways are wide open. Water hazards come into play on two holes and there are numerous bunkers as well, especially on the back nine. The signature hole of the golf course is the par-3, fifth hole. This notable hole has water to the right of the green and bunkers on the front right and left. With its location just south of Luke Air Force Base, fighter jets are regularly seen flying over Falcon Golf Club.

Feel good scoring opportunities
Short course with challenging small greens. Worth what I paid! Very friendly!
A windy afternoon
Course with moderate challenges, fairly dry & hard. Not worth the long drive from Gilbert.
Needs a little bit of work
Course layout is OK, few holes the fairways are too close to each other. There is a three inch goffer hole on one of the greens. Pace is too slow, 5 hour round, maybe due to over-booking. Otherwise, the weather and scenery is good and the company is great.
Noisy golf.
Course is next to an Air Force base with jets constantly taking off and landing making for some very noisy golf. You could hardly talk to your playing partners. It has a nice layout, but is in need of some TLC badly. Fairways were firm and bare. Greens were hard and slow, you could barely leave a divot when hitting the green.
Golfnow round
We got a package online for under $30 . Greens good, fairways pretty good rough wasn't rough it was dirt. Had played this course a couple of years ago but not lately. Grounds have gone a bit downhill. Price was right!
Not as bad as some reviews would suggest
The Day I played was windy and cold so course was very open - walked 18 in 3.5 hrs. Over all the course is in decent condition (Its not upper tier Phoenix golf but you shouldn't expect it to be).....Greens were very firm but consistent and decently full. Fairways are still full from the over seeding. Well worth the price....
Golf and Air Show all in one
We enjoyed the day here. It's not a top-end course but for the price we paid, it was well worth it. We dropped a wallet in the parking lot and someone turned it in so thanks to whomever did that and the staff made sure we retrieved it. The course is right beside an air base so the added air show was cool to watch. If you're looking for an inexpensive round, this works well. Greens were good to putt on. All in all, a good day.
Fairways need work. Greens in good shape. No course ranger. Pace of play was slow. Foursome in front of us was at least a hole behind. When they left the green, we would hit our approach shot, putt out and when we would get to the next hole they hadn’t finished teeing off.
Meh
The pace was really slow on the back nine. The greens were pretty hard and the balls rolled really fast. Course conditions were ok the could still use some
Improvement.
Live the entertainment
Nice local track. Not to busy, so easy to get around in 4hr. Course is in good shape. Challenging for the average player. Fairways are tight, greens average speed, not to many surprises... aleays live the jets flying by.
Go Jets Go
Falcon Golf Course
Tee boxes were good. Fairways were horrible. Half of greens were good and other half were not good.
Most fun part of golf was watching the Air Force F-35 fighter jets take off and land, as the course is right next to Luke Air Force vase.
Very low green fee for a very poorly conditioned golf course.
awesome
place is awesome! , is an untold gem in my opinion .wide fairways, decent greens and a challenge at every hole . and staff rocks. i do not know wy more people go there other then they do not know place exists.
Falcon golf course
Course was in good condition. Price with golf now was also good. Ongoing air show was spectacular. Will play again.
Poor
The price was right...layout was good...but the conditions were very poor, course was soaked.
Pace of play was great.
Won’t be back.
