Raven Golf Club - Phoenix

Since it opened the Raven has been a top notch layout. The entire course was in excellent shape. My only gripe is that some of the tee boxes force you to play the ball above your feet. In my opinion, a flat tee box should be a guarantee on every hole. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Course always in great shape and very challenging. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Top 10 course in the state in my opinion.

First I must commend the staff for being nice and accommodating. I asked the starter if I could play earlier than my regular ttime and he found a spot for me. The course is just suited for my game.Well maintained course. Wished other players should have fixed their ball marks on the green. Really enjoyed my time.

Fairways are in great shape but the greens are rough

The Raven course is certainly one of the best layouts in the valley. One caveat...if you are more than a 6-8 handicap, please do not play the silver tees or longer. This sucker plays long. One of the par fives plays about 600 yards ( from silver tees, not the tips) and is slightly uphill. Condition of this course is amazing. The greens are hard and fast. There is not a better value in town, bar none. Again, the silver tees (not the back tees) play over 6700 yards, and unless you hit it 260+, plan on hybrids or fairway woods to most of the par fours. I am a six handicap (and 67 years old) and I struggled to break 80 (barely). Play the white tees and have some fun. Pine trees in the desert are worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this course, but don't feel you have to play the man card. Play it forward and enjoy the layout. Outstanding course. I give it my strongest recommendation. Just play it smart and enjoy one of the best layouts in Arizona.

Great course to play! Sand in traps are lacking on various holes. Greens held well and putted smoothly. Fun course to play and would recommend it to other golfers. Pace of play was poor but it was supposedly due to a tournament earlier in the day.

The Raven Golf Club is a beautiful Course. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. I don’t think I have ever played a course that was in such excellent shape.

The course is in great shape after overseeding! Beautiful layout with lots of trees that provide shade. Greens are rolling pure. Staff are warm and friendly. I love this place and will be back soon.

I really enjoy this course. It is challenging and fun. The greens are not easy when they are running fast. The surroundings are great to see too!

Course in great shape right now. Greens are rolling pretty quick and true. Fairways are in good shape. Only issue with the course is the bunkers. A lot of that is from rain but they’re still very firm. Not much sand. Worth paying $30-35 for right now.

It was a perfect day for golf, and the course delivered too. Great greens, interesting layout. Not too difficult. They should include a shorter teebox than 5700 yds. It was very long for my wife, but even she enjoyed it. They said they had a "family tee" but didn't.

Love the course needs more maintenance on the overall look of the course. Meaning flowers edging etc. Please don’t get this comment twisted is a very nice course but curve appeal needs a facelift

The greens and fairways were in great shape. Unfortunately, the bunkers and tee boxes were not. Additionally, the pace of play was EXTREMELY SLOW. I was paired with another gentleman, and we were joined by a single behind us on hole 4. We literally waited 10 minutes between shots on every hole as a threesome, though there were supposedly rangers on staff.

The cart team and starter were great, while the inside clubhouse staff was TERRIBLE. They didn’t greet any customers, and I actually had to look around for the gentleman working the desk in order to check-in. He was found sitting in a chair in the corner, and didn’t say a word to me when I walked in. Customer service 101 at it’s WORST!

Played with a foursome this past Sunday and the course was in great shape! Greens rolled true and the pace of play was perfect. We finished the round in a little over 4 hours. It would've been great to see the cart girls more than once but other than that, it was a positive experience. One of my favorite courses and will be playing again soon before the rates go back ^.

First time to play at Raven. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course is very straight forward- all but two holes the flag can be seen from the tee box- course well groomed. Plenty of areas for water- nice on a 105 degree day. Play moved well- never felt rushed or had to wait for the foursome ahead of us. I highly recommend.
