Raven Golf Club - Phoenix

Really nice resort style course. Played well, conditions were just about perfect for the time of year, staff really great. Will definitely keep this one on top of the list next time around.

Great conditions for golf in AZ in August. Greens still recovering from summer punch

The Raven is a great course to play. I have played off and on since it was developed. I like the layout, the rolling fairways, and generally the course location.

I don't like the steep prices charged to play this course. i know we are in a golf "mecca" but I wold play this course much more frequently if their prices were more inline with other local courses in the area. That said, I still try and get on the course at least annually or more often and Golf Now provides that opportunity with Hot Deals.

It would be nice to see the Raven offer Arizona residents/seniors/veterans a discounted rate.

This is a tough time of year (summer) for course conditions, but the Raven course was in great condition. The greens were just aerated and sanded recently so putting was a little inconsistent, but not as bad some other courses in the area.

Can't wait to get out and play another round before the green fees skyrocket for the winter!

Greens and fairway good but some bunkers were the worst I've seen in Phoenix.

With the ARCIS membership, this is my favorite course. Always in pristine condition. The bunkers were a little hard, but that's practically everywhere in Phoenix these days. A little slower than normal pace of play, but still under 4 and a half hours, usually it's right at 4 hours.

The only way to get into trouble is by creating it (the starter’s advice was spot on)! The course was truly in impressive shape and was a nice break from traditional desert courses. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Don't get me wrong, they have some huge traps and they are well positioned and fair. But couldn't you guys run a machine through them to break up the surface crust. We all had wedges skitter off the surface and thin shots over and off the green. My only complaint, love the course. Well one other complaint, no ball washers at all!

Beautiful layout, staff was friendly and let us tee off early. This is not your typical Arizona course, with pine trees, lakes and undulation throughout. Nice change of scenery and pace of play was excellent at just over 3 hours .

Loved it, greens were consistent and much faster than I’m used to on my home course , but had a great time regardless of all the 3 putts.

My experience at The Raven was the ideal blend of good price, fast play, beautiful and challenging course, and excellent conditioning. I truly enjoyed my round of golf.

The staff working the pro- shop were very helpful and friendly. When we checked in they let’ us know that we could tee off early if we desired, which we did!!

OK, it was 112* out there today so not many golfers and the staff didn't have to work to hard but they were still really good. The practice area is great and the course was in as good of shape as you can ask for at this time of year.

Always very happy to get a round on Raven. If you have never played it, go now while it is affordable.
