Golfer Reviews
Back 9 greens were a mess!
Minimal grass and lots of sand with footprints throughout
Seem to have reopened too early after their renovation
Bunkers were filled with as large smoint of stones
Disappointing
Considering that the course had been closed for around 6 months for repair and improvement, I was highly disappointed with the course conditioning.
First of all, thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback.
We appreciate your continued support and understanding regarding the current condition of our golf course. We have recently experienced poorer than normal water quality, obvious extreme weather, which combined with an early overseed has seriously impacted the turf. We acknowledge that it is not at its best right now, but please rest assured that we are actively working to improve it.
Our team is implementing necessary maintenance and updates to ensure that the course regains its quality and playability. We have re-seeded and are using alternative water sources to rectify the issues asap. We are committed to providing you with a great golfing experience, and we anticipate that improvements will be noticeable in the very near future.
To repay you for your loyalty and patience, we will be hosting a 4-person Scramble tournament including golf, food, and prizes to the first 144 golfers for $25 each in the month of January. Stay tuned for further details via email marketing, course website, and social media posts.
Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to welcoming you back to enjoy an enhanced course.
Poor conditions
We were excited to play the “NEW” course. Very disappointed. Greens were horrid to say the least. The course wasn’t new at all. To pay $65 for a $20 dollar course was insulting. They should have waited another month before reopening. Won’t hurry back!!!

Conditions still not great
With all the money and nearly 6 months of closure you’d expect the course to have dramatic improvements over the past. However the greens are still extremely fresh with many large spaces of little to no grass. The fairways are starting to come in from overseed, but patches are barren like mid summer and looks like no work was done to them during the closure. Only real visible change is the weeds have been scraped out of the desert areas.

Expected better
The greens are in horrible condition.
The rough is mostly dirt.
Too bad, because it’s a beautiful setting and has the possibility to be a spectacular course.

Not good, just not good
If I were Troon I’d run away, this course is beyond a lost cause. The audacity to charge what they do to putt on Plinko boards is shocking. It’s sad when the starter warned us about how the renovations didn’t turn out. For the prices they are charging go to a city of Phoenix course.

Not the best
Tee boxes ok but not great.
Greens very poor, to much sand.
Fairways are ok.
I don't know what happened, just a few weeks ago the course was great.

Foothills
The greens were not in good shape. Still like the course!
What did they improve?
They closed for 7 months for improvements, only to re-open and have my group say "what did they improve, course looks worse than before they closed". We got a $45 hot deal, so I can't complain too much, that's about what the course is worth right now.

Horrible condition
I keep playing this course from time to time , hoping it gets better . This time it was closed for months and when it reopened, we decided to try it again . Nothing changed , it's in horrible shape . Some bunkers have no sand , others do . Fairways on front 9 were ok at best , greens on front 9 were all painted and in horrible shape .
Back 9 was even worse . Fairways were not over-seeded and were brown . Greens were painted green to hide all the sand hidden underneath. Absolutely worst conditions I have seen in a while . All three of us said we would never play this course again and it is by no means worth over $80 . $20 would be my max .

Not as Expected
After being closed for around 6 months to repair and upgrade the course, it was disappointing to see how little the course conditions had improved. Fairways, greens and rough all had plenty of bare spots. Looks like something green colored was put on the greens to “cover” the bare spots.

Good price, greens rough
First time playing since course reopened. The staff has done a good job since taking over . Only issue was with greens which appear to have fungus and many are in very rough shape. Looking forward to seeing them get the issue fixed
