About
Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.
After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Greens very inconsistent
Never know what you get when you play this course. This time, the greens were very inconsistent, some fast, some slow???? Not in great shape.
Better now
After all of the drama in the past few years, the course is finally up to an acceptable standard. Worth a try.
Nice Course
First time playing here and I really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly. Conditions were generally very good, although a few of the greens had some spotty missing grass but not near hole locations. Greens were a bit bumpy. I will definitely be back.
Will it shut down again?
Grasses not consistent. Was in better shape 2 months ago.
Great time
Day went smooth. Never felt rushed. Kept good pace. Super friendly staff.
Good layout
Unique layout in a good setting. Course conditions were a little rough around the edges. Greens weren’t nearly as firm as other reviews made them out to be, held well but were bumpy/patchy and didn’t roll true. Good value for the money this time of year.

Club house updated and modern.
Club drop off guys are great.
I have a fresh grill to get hamburgers and hot dogs at the turn.
Range practice facility very good.

Course review
First time playing in years. What a surprise. Course was in excellent condition from fairway, greens and sand traps. Will definitely recommend to friends and will play again. It was a great day.
Scenic and fun!
Fairways were in great shape! Some greens had patchy spots but still good! Always enjoy playing this local course, friendly staff and good pace of play—right at 4 hours!
EXTREMELY SLOW PACE OF PLAY
You guys have to do something about pace of play. Either schedule accordingly or have a marshal out there.
We couldn’t finish and only made it through 13 holes because it was taking wasaaaay to long.
Please speed ip the pace.
Ready golf
Obviously, course personnel have no idea about the customer’s golf acumen. So, the rangers need to be more proactive in addressing pace of play, etiquette, and golfer behavior. Even when a group’s round takes the typical 4:10 - 4:20 hrs, it can be frustrating for a faster group that is not invited to play through.
