About
Foothills Golf Club offers 18 holes of golf on a golf course designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf and built in 1988. The par-72 golf course measures 6,901 yards. Foothills Golf Club sits among the South Mountains, and features a contrast of challenge and forgiveness on a links-style course that allows golfers to play a target layout that has more than 65 bunkers that daunt, fairways that roll and desert that has a lot of rocks. The fabulous championship golf course provides the locale for all levels of golfer to shoot a memorable day of golf.
After taking in the views of the South Mountains on the Foothills Golf Club's golf course, head back to the clubhouse, for wonderful vistas of the course and the Estrella Mountain Range.

Awesome Course
Aside from. 12 and 13 with temp greens, and 15 green with a bit of damage, the course is beautiful and in excellent shape. Great staff, practice facilities, course layout, and views. Don't miss out on playing this gem! Only suggestion would be on 12 and 13 if the current yardages could be calibrated on the cart monitor.
Amazing day at Foothills
Austin was as friendly as ever in the pro shop and the whole staff was extremely friendly! Even with the two temporary greens, the course is an amazing shape and is great value for your money. I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re able to get a tee time!
This course was very nice for the price at this time of year.
Just disappointed that the grill was closed...No Hotdogs 🤔
Nice fairways
Fairways were in good condition. Greens were slow and two were temp greens so need more time to improve since being reconditioned.
Course is a great place for the average golfer
So I know they are repairing some greens and two holes have temporary greens but the course is in great shape open fairways beautiful views and for the price it is so worth it putting isn’t your whole game so bare with the course and take the chance for the price Well worth it includes range balls great putting and choosing range
Beautiful,fun and budget friendly
From the time we pulled into the parking lot we experienced a friendly staff and an enjoyable day at the course. The course was in great shape and the greens were in better shape than we expected. It was nice to play a good course and not pay an arm and a leg!
Foothills Golf Club Outing
The tee boxes and fairways are in great shape, and the scenery and course layout are excellent. Range balls are included in the price.
The rates are lower than normal because the owners of the course are not happy with the conditions of the greens, but I found them to be fine. There are still two temporary greens, but otherwise, I had no complaints at all.
I have played the course several times in the last few weeks, and have enjoyed it tremendously each time.
Course is still in need of repair!
Front nine had recovered and played nicely, but the back nine sere horrendous.
Fairways like carpet!
The nicest course I've played in Arizona yet! Two temp greens didn't matter. Very challenging. Scary bunkers around the green. Worst score for me personally,but it was worth the challenge. Hope to be back
First time back
For being closed for renovations, not thinking they got their moneys worth. New grasses I guess.
Better than I expected!
Already looking to get back to the Foothills. I played in November before they shut down in December and reopened and it’s night and day difference. The only draw back is the 2 temporary greens. Everything but the 2 temporary greens is in excellent shape. Go play before they shut down June 1 till November again. They doing a great job and making the course look amazing!
