About
Camelback Golf Club features two courses, Padre and Ambiente (formerly known as Indian Bend Course). The Ambiente Course underwent a major renovation in 2013. Making the course more eco friendly was one of the major goals of the renovation in addition to improving the layout's playability for a wider range of skill levels. The creatively shaped greens offer a variety of different putting options that present interesting risk-reward opportunities. The renovation added 100 acres of native desert and grass areas that add not only beauty but also require a third less water. Rolling terrain is the defining characteristic of the Ambiente Course, from the undulating fairways to dramatic drops in elevation. There are five sets of tees with forward tees that have easier approach angles and no forced carried, allowing even beginners to approach the golf course with confidence.

Almost 5 hours at 8 am
Hard to describe a course when pace of play for a 200 plus dollar round is almost 5 hours first thing in the morning
Fun course, Great Greens
Had a great time playing this course! Course was in great condition and the greens were in fantastic shape. Loved the layout and would definitely come back here!
Nice but average golf course
First let me say ALLYSA in clubhouse is smart and knows what she is doing. Deserves a raise. The course is in excellent condition and the greens are true and fast put an ugly shade of green. What I like in Arizona courses all the views. Courses that I played both of you see magnificent. There were no views at all-flat terrain and the surrounding dessert rough unkempt

Camelback
What a wonderful experience. The course was flawless, tee boxes and collars looked fake they were so perfect. Greens held good shots and rolled true. The greens are hugh with lots of undulations.....pay attention to pin placements.l
Beautiful!
This is a beautiful course with unique bunkering and undulations. Even with the wind blowing as it was today, the course didn’t play overly long or difficult. Don’t get me wrong - it was challenging but fair. The greens are challenging and quick but I found them to be fair as well. I was worried because a lot of the reviews I read mentioned them being too fast - I didn’t find that to be the case. Every part of the experience was great.

Enjoyed the course. Plays long which I like. Cart girl was excellent. Staff was great.
Very Nice Course!
Set in the shadow of Camelback Mountain, this golf course was great. The Clubhouse is very nice, good practice area, and the Ambiente course (the one we played) was a challenging tract. Lots of water, sand traps, and of course, desert wasteland. Bring your straight game and you'll score well. Greens putted well and the course was in good condition. We'll definitely be back and play again.
