McCormick Ranch Golf Club features two lush manicured year-round courses amid the lovely views of Scottsdale. Both the Palm and Pine golf courses' championship tees lay to over 7,000 yards, and there are also the options of men's, seniors' and ladies' tee sets to allow everyone a crack at the tests offered by these golf courses.
Golf Illustrated selected the ninth hole of the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club to be "One of the USA's Top 18 Water Holes." It's just one of 10 water holes on the golf course, which, as you might imagine, also features lots of big palms. In all, the golf course plays to over yards from the blue tees, including four par-5 holes that measure over 500 yards.
A round of golf on the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which plays close to 400 yards from the blue tee and requires a drive right-center to ensure a short-iron second shot.

Great day of golf
Played this course twice
Both times was great
Course was in good shape
Weather was great
Course in challenging
Would play it again
Too much geese poop
The course was packed with geese. That and their feces became a distraction. While not their fault I would not recommend the course for this time of year. Overall course conditions were decent otherwise.
Poor condition over priced
GPS seemed cheap lots of dirt or dead grass in landing area .
Greens bumpy from balls marks!
Just didn’t look like anyone cared!
Some real trouble on some holes that there was no warning for or that could be seen!
All around bad experience!
Fairways in poor condition
Although the greens and tee boxes were well maintained and watered, the fairways were in poor condition at best. They clearly never water any of the roughs, so if you don't hit the narrow fairways you are playing off hard packed burnt grass/dirt. Even when you are in the fairway, the was a reasonable chance that there was no grass on several holes. N
Fairways were atrocious,at best- no grass- mud all over. So much fowl droppings, it was disgusting- must be some way to clean it up! Signed up for a foursome, was sent out as a single- third time this has happened.
Average course
Paid too much for just an average course. Not bad but have paid half as much to play similar courses in Phoenix
Unmet expectations
Played another Phoenix area course yesterday after a pretty good weather front rolled thru. Conditions were heads and shoulders above this layout. Very disappointed with thin fairways even thinner dormant first cut areas and traps were hard as a wedding night svantz
Check around for same price you will do better.
Bad Customer Service
Very disappointed and frustrated with our experience. I brought 8 gentlemen to this course to play and we all paid ($86 each) right before we had to tee off at 1:20pm it started to hail and thunderstorm for an hour so we didn't even step on the golf course...and the course was not in playable condition...we asked to get at a minimum a rain check from the clubhouse. Staff was not friendly and non negotiable. We all are from MN and come multiple times a year to play many different courses and will never be back to McCormick Ranch. Bad customer service and horrible experience!
Kind of pricey
The value of the course did not mech what we paid. The course was nice, but not for what we paid.
