About
McCormick Ranch Golf Club features two lush manicured year-round courses amid the lovely views of Scottsdale. Both the Palm and Pine golf courses' championship tees lay to over 7,000 yards, and there are also the options of men's, seniors' and ladies' tee sets to allow everyone a crack at the tests offered by these golf courses.
Golf Illustrated selected the ninth hole of the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club to be "One of the USA's Top 18 Water Holes." It's just one of 10 water holes on the golf course, which, as you might imagine, also features lots of big palms. In all, the golf course plays to over yards from the blue tees, including four par-5 holes that measure over 500 yards.
A round of golf on the Palm Course at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club kicks off on the par-4 first hole, which plays close to 400 yards from the blue tee and requires a drive right-center to ensure a short-iron second shot.

McCormick Worth Playing
A great course design. Fairways and greens are good but the rough is very spotty and the traps are rock hard and need more sand which has been a problem for a very long time
Nice course
Love the course, plenty of challenge and interesting holes. The grass was in good condition. I look forward to playing the Pine Course sometime.
Poor Overall course conditions for $100
Played at 8:10 this morning. Best part about the course was actually the greens-I’d rate them 7.2/10. Tee boxes, fairways, and rough were horrible. I play 2 times per week all around the Phx area, and I would not recommend this course to anyone other than someone with a handicap of 18 or higher.

Best links course in Scottsdale in my opinion. Great course layout, challenging but still a good option for beginners, palm trees look awesome, highly recommended course.
Great Scottsdale desert course
I have no issue with the course. I played at 12:48 on a Monday and played by myself with one other gentleman a few holes ahead of me, so pace of play was excellent just under 2 hours. I did take issue with the fact that it was 114° out and there was no cart girl, and not water stations (yeah yeah I know about Covid but other courses in the area provide water stations with an “at your own risk” warning) also there was no restroom until the 11th...not a big deal to me but some may not like that.
Fun course
My first time playing this Course. Layout was fun. Greens were a little bit fuzzy, hard to predict the speed
Played the Palm today. Greens on the front were a little bumpy but expected for this time of year in Arizona. Greens on the back were great! Teed off at 6am and done in less than 3 hours! Love the layout of the Palm!

Better than most
The greens didn’t look that great but ran smooth and fast. Fairways were mostly ok, but need to use “winter rules” as a little sparse in places. Like the layout and if get a good price, certainly worth playing. I played by myself and played two balls and got done in less than three hours.
