About
The executive golf course at Mountain Shadows Golf Club in addition to being an excellent course has the added benefit of having a picturesque location nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, and it also offers views of the equally majestic Mummy Mountains. The oleanders and palm trees sprinkled throughout the course enhance the pleasant atmosphere. The golf course's 18th hole boasts beautiful views of the sunset during the twilight hours but the signature hole is the par-3 12th hole. It plays uphill toward Camelback Mountain and over a pond and brook to a double-tiered green that is well protected by bunkers.

Great little course with severe slopes on greens
We played at 10 am and were paired with a single gentleman who was an ex-Marine. The course was in very good condition. The greens were very fair to putt on. Not too fast because of the slope of the greens. There were some very large mounds and dips in the greens. Landing areas were small. The hole distances were from 60 to 180 yds. Green areas were well maintained. Par 54 so every hole was a par 3. Between the 17 and the 18 hole is a putting green that has some pretty funky slopes and they use it for a betting hole. The putt is about 60 feet long. I got it inside 2 feet for a 2.
Overall very enjoyable. The temperature was great. The company was great and the course was fun.

Fun golf course
Was a cute 18 Hole Par 3. Great shape. Greens were fuzzy because of recent over-seed, nice resort. Great service! Staff were amazing. Not a single employee didn’t stop and say hi, acknowledge you or ask how your day was.

Great Short Course
With all of the courses to choose from in the PHX area, this is my first repeat. I thoroughly enjoy the short, yet challenging layout which tests my iron game. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful despite the fact I’m there on a Hot Deal and not a resort guest.

Played with a friend having stayed/played here 25+ years ago. Staff very friendly. Challenging short course - good for practice. Not a lot of shade so prepare accordingly.

Just....awesome. But don’t bother bringing your drivers
I don’t even know where to begin - the 5 star resort, the presidential-degree level of attentiveness from the support staff on the course (seriously.) or the breathtaking views from the moment you step up to tee off from the 1st hole; everything is 5 stars above expectations. Can’t wait to play here again next month
Great Par 3.
Beautiful, challenging par 3. Pay attention to those pin placements. The greens are a bit ... challenging.
Picturesque
Very friendly staff and Course was picturesque, yet pace of play and a “goofy” golf feel on some holes make me rate it as average. Good date course, but not for serious golfer, even to work on short game
