About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Rough shape
I don't mind paying a fair fee,but this course is not in that categor, front nine in terrible shape, traps all mud.,rocks ,maybe,,35$ for 18 holes if you don't mind riding in old carts.
Needs upkeep.
Course at one time would of been very good. Carts are old and needs maintenance. Beverage cart seen on first hole and never again. No marshals present. Waiting on every hole on the back nine. At one time there was 4 fours sums waiting on a pair 5 with 3 groups in the fairways.
Poor greens
Lucky for us we just paid twilight fees. The greens were atrocious, and I would’ve expected a refund if we had paid more than twilight. Course has great potential but will not play it again without knowing condition of all the greens.
Course overall in only fair shape, cart paths all need to be replaced, standing water in the sand traps and vey little sand when dry, green were moderately slow, with holes in some the greens that would stop a ball, the ruff was in bad condition.

Didn’t finish because of a late start. I believe it was a first delay. Fairways and greens in good shape. The course could use better signage for hole locations.
Fun, challenging course; interesting layout
I had great fun. Interesting layout in and around Happy Trails RV Resort, which added to the ambiance :) I am a fairly high handicap (23), and found the course somewhat challenging, but fun and fair. Numerous gullies and guarded greens. The greens were in fabulous shape!
Wet
The Course is in Great Shape, except for the standing water on the Fairways and Bunkers. Might be over watering. Will definitely play here again! Excellent 19th Hole!
