Course was in good condition.

Very friendly staff.

Pace of play on the back nine was an issue starting on number 14 hole, group in front were extremely slow and we had to wait a good 7 10 mins on last 5 holes.

Obviously very frustrating.

Otherwise a nice day.

A complete mess, only go when prices are cheap and I don’t want pay jacked up prices during winter. Needs new management and prime for being sold. Not sure if there is a minimum standard for golf courses but this one fail every category.

Staff was very friendly and attentive.

The course itself was the worst track I’ve played in Arizona.

I booked a afternoon tee time trying to reduce the waiting. No ranger or staff to speak of on the course. The fairway’s are not good at all on a few holes but others are ok. The greens are in good shape but pretty narrow. I only golf heat because it is cheap but the easy things to fix they do not address. I highly recommend spending $20 more dollars for an ok course.

The course was in great shape. The staff there were amazing. The restaurant and bar was a great way to relax after the round and watch some games. Absolutely fabulous place well worth the money

Great course design. Greens were in very good condition. Fairways were okay too. Bunkers are dirt pits. Cart paths went bad a long time ago. Being told to do 90 degree is a joke.

The course is clean and well maintained! Great Eagle is one of my favorite places to play!

Enjoy playing quaint tracks that have interesting layouts along with interesting stuff to observe as you go around the course.

No cart path, gofer holes on greens, no water or sand on course and just empty holes where they used to be, horrible food service, carts are tired junk and you’ll need a kidney support from the rough ride and unkept overgrowth everywhere. Looks like not a single penny has been placed back into the course.

Mostly in good condition with greens running smooth and good. Fairways mostly good. Some apparent watering issues as a couple bunkers had standing water and a couple spots in fairways were also bog-like... in spite of no recent rain. First time playing it was challenging from the tees on many holes as there weren't hole layouts printed on the scoreboard or on tee markers. Some good tee shots ended up not being rewarded due to the terrain leaving water and fairway variations not being visible from the tee box. Overall, decent value but opportunities exist to make it better for a first time visitor to the course.

Fairways were fine as were the greens. Off fairways were poor and need maintenance. We were told this was a great course at one time. We heard most of the money is spent at Arizona Traditions. This was from a long time resident of Great Eagle. Too many dips and valleys and fillings mounds for my type of play. I thought I was on an ATV or motocross course most of the time. Oh well, it was fun and of course the weather was great. Will probably play it again to see if it doesn't kick my butt like it did on Tuesday. The photos of the course do not reflect its current condition. Too bad!!!
