About
Great Eagle Golf Club, rated one of the most affordable golf courses in Arizona, is a championship course in the West Valley. Although it has a traditional design there are several unique and challenging elements that come into play such as undulating mounds that cause uneven lies and well-guarded greens. Water hazards also come into play on four holes. The golf course offers three sets of tee boxes so that there is some flexibility regarding levels of challenge, but overall the course is suitable for any player. The Great Eagle Golf Club, in addition to the course, also offers both a chipping green and a putting green.

Has potential
If they dumped some cash into this course it could be a challenging and pretty course. No real cart paths. Many areas look torn up. Lists of dried grasses and hard pan areas.
Course still needs a lot of work
Good layout but needs a lot of loving care. Very hilly, greens are better but need more work, cart paths stink but the course is challenging. Not sure if I will pay the price they now want.
Slow play
I booked my tee time at 11 thinking it would be faster the 4 groups in front were extremely slow didn't play the last 3 holes
Was charged $2.50 booking fee online, but only showed i paid $1.50 when checking in at the pro shop. Only $1.00 but still not right.
First time playing
They need to fix the cart paths all they way through the course. If the cart paths were better you could have less maintenance on the carts and save money. Signs for each hole need to be clearly marked and what hole is next up. This course could be a gem if they put a little more work into it, people will pay more for a really good course, but that's just my opinion. Had fun with a great bunch of guys I had never met before.
Greens are in much better shape that in the past.
Ranger was friendly and experience was good.
Decent shape.
Coarse was in pretty good shape and good deal for the money.
